Vintage Tomassini TT bike (Wedgwood) $800

Tomassini TT bike- Purchased from Bart Knaggs a couple of years after he used it in state TT back in the early 90s. 650c front 700c rear original Roval wheels with Campy delta brakes, super record derailleurs, friction shifters, engraved seat post and stem. A very fancy reminder of a different era of TT bikes that displayed Italian craftsmanship, rather than space age composites. It is also now totally "retro". Quatrocolore paint job is a thing of beauty. I dreamed of displaying it in my trophy room, but that is not ever going to happen.
I will includes a rise stem and angled seat-post to emulate a more modern TT position (shown in pictures) as well as the original engraved Tomassini stem and seat post
size measures 58.5 but since it is sloped down and odd geometry it is somewhere between a 57-60 depending on how you set-up the stem and seat post and just how flexible you are.

I have a Vintage Bicycle Generator that works off the rear tire. It is a 6 volt generator, which includes the mounting hardware and the tail light (bulb will need to be replaced). The assembly is manufactured by Miller of Great Britain and is stamped Part# 598. The generator is rated at 6 volt output/3.24 watts. I have not tested this item. I'm fat and lazy and this bike is tired of leaning against the wall.

Black/carbon and red color scheme, less than 500 miles on it and it's in almost new condition. Raced 2 crits and the HH100 on this bike at the end of '07 and I can't tell you how great this bike handles. I bought the bike as a transition from the aluminum/carbon bike I had been riding and what a difference. The bike is stiff enough to transfer all your watts to the ground but the carbon frame and seat post with those nifty little Zerts inserts dampen the vibration like a dream. The bike is currently set up a little aggressive but that can be adjusted when you fit the bike. I am including a pair of Look pedals but you'll have to get your own shoes and cleats if you want them.

The bike is a Tarmac Comp and comes with Shimano 105 components except for the Ultegra derailer.

Toupe Seat to match the bike.

It has the original Specialized Pro tires and you'll be able to see how little wear there is on the original brake pads too. May need a tune up but I rode it yesterday and it's ready to roll.

Excellent quality mid-eighties Japanese built bicycle.

This is for a 2002 Trek 2300 road bike frameset. It is a size 56 and is the black/blue coloring. Has a carbon fork with aluminum steer tube for better reliability. I rode this bike for 2 years and have since moved on to differ frames. It has a fairly new headset and have seen in a box in my garage for the past few years. I loved how this bike rode. It is light, stiff, and very responsive. It does have a few amount of scratches but no dents. This was my first road bike and it got babied. I bought these bikes brand new. The GT 6.0 I-Drive retailed for $1300 in Burnaby and Super Mirage retailed for $650 at a local bike shop in Plano in 2003. I used both of them lessed than 2 times riding aound my neighborhood and have never used them since 2003. The only ware and tare on them is from those short neeghborhood trips. The tires still have the new rubber spikes on them and they are basically brand new.

The total value was over $1300 (after taxes) for one and $650 for the other. Since they are 2003 models but in very good shape come take a look them and you be the judge at how nice these bikes are.

I am positive the first person who comes will take it for that price as you can surely sell it for more than the price that I'm selling them far or keep for yourself.

Reason I am selling them:
I'm moving soon and don't need them. These are two custom bikes made for a person standing between 6 Ft and 6"5" Ft in height. You can write down the serial number and have it checked out not a problem. I can include the serial number upon request to verify everything is legit and I that I own it.

I got these for a project, but ended up going with a wider pair.
These were mounted, but never ridden or taped.
I have a quill stem I can throw in for $5 (it's a no name pull off) The second picture is stolen from the interweb..
but it's what they COULD look like all taped up and ready to go...
you can use cross levers or road bike levers
or no levers at all on your single speed, fixed gear...
or run bar end shifters or brifters on your geared bike.
