I'm looking for someone to make minor template tweaks to a Joomla site I've been working on. We don't need an entirely new template but just need a few minor modifications to some of the module positions and layout. You must know HTML, PHP, CSS, and be familiar with Joomla to be able to complete this with ease.

Basically the main changes I need are to the way the modules are displayed. I want to have more options, at least 2 more. I want specific colors, and I want the heads of the modules to pull an image file so I can have a custom look. Changes to some of the fonts and color scheme may also be necessary. I have to repeat though that I do not want a completely new template. The one we have suits our needs very well so please only respond if you know how to code. (Believe me I could fish around for templates to replace this one if that's all I needed)

I had somebody fix a form on my website and help me publish it. The problem is that he did not completely finish. The website is www.ineedcreditcardhelpnow.com . If you go to the site you can see that if you click on any of the other tabs you can not go back to the home tab. The other problem is that on a couple of the pages the spacing is now off. All I need is somebody to fix the spacing and tell me how I can change the phone numbers and email addresses on the site in the future. 1. The keyboard has stopped working
2. There is a spyware called Security Tool that pops up when I logon. Not sure where it came from. It's trying to get me to buy a spyware program because it says I have a virus. I can still access the Internet. I have Spyware Terminator but Security Tool keeps popping up so I can't work. I thought I could uninstall/remove Security Tools but when went to uninstall/remove it, I found nothing with the name. I did find out that the program could be found in in C:/Program Data named as some weird numbers. There is a shortcut on my desktop and in my startup menu. My screen went blue for a minute so I'm afraid I may actually have a virus but why isn't Spyware Terminator removing it? Please help. This is an HP Compaq Presario laptop.

This laptop has been dropped one too many times. It's a good computer and is only a year and a half old. It's a Dell. Don't remember the style. It needs new hinges because the top (screen portion) and bottom (keypad portion) are about to become detached. The system crashed and now needs recovering in addition to repairing the hinges. The screen is in perfect condition. It's the frame at the bottom of the laptop and the hinges that are damaged. The drive is fairly new. I ordered it not too long ago from Dell (April '09).

I have an SQL Server file with 600,000 records. The file has 9 index. When I do select, it's working fine But when I do update, the system "dissappear" for 2 minutes, then come back.

I removed all the index, but the main one. It's still slow.

I removed all the triggers. It's still slow.

I removed 500,000 records. It's still slow.

I removed all the records but 1000, now it's fast (of course).

We're a 120 Dallas company that is slowly (but surely) becoming a full ecommerce internet operation. Our manufacturing process requires a lot of data entry, part of which is used to create the end product. We have recently upgraded to a customized sequel server based order entry and accounting package that integrates with our website on the front end and UPS and USPS on the back end.
In the middle part of the process, we use CorelDraw (X3) and Word to produce our custom product line. Our sql software package is programmed to manipulate Corel to a certain extent, but we need it to do more. We can get some support from the designer of our sql software, but because it involves more graphical expertise and because his time is limited, we are hoping to find someone who knows how to write scripts in Visual Basic that could automate required entries into both CorelDraw and Word. 70% of our work is in Corel and 30% in Word. All of it could possibly be accomplished in Corel, but there are certain tasks that Word currently handles better. Bottom line, experience with CorelDraw would be a huge plus!

We don't have a budget for this yet, but are willing to pay more for an experienced programmer who has the background we need. Funds are limited, so a fixed price quote would be preferable if that is possible.

I'm familiar with powerpoint, and use it a lot for basic projects and presentation. But there are so many features that I'm simply not familiar with. I tried video professor, but it was too slow for me.

We have a very large e-commerce site that features a highly customized version of the Interspire Shopping cart. We are looking for a LOCAL developer that not only knows Interspire inside out but also the following:

Home Network Expert Needed (Plano - Willow Bend)

I need an expert for a one time only job. I have all this equipment at home, and although I am computer literate, it is getting to be too much for me. Everything works, but I'm sure it could be working better. I have 3 laptops, 2 are running XP and 1 is running Vista. We run all three off a wireless network. The main wireless router is a Verizon FIOS router. We also have another router that is running, and can be used as a backup incase the FIOS router goes down. That 2nd router is a Vonage router. We have one vonage phone line that is our main phone for the home. Problem #1 is that I'm trying to set up 2 Apple Airprt Express Base Stations so that I can stream music throughout the home. I've not been having any luck adding those devices to my wireless network. Problem #2 is that I have a very high quality color printer/fax/scanner that I want to have wirelessly networked (it has the capability). Problem #3 is that I have a 1 Terrabyte back-up drive that also needs to be networked. Problem #4 is a docking station for the laptop with Vista is not working as it should. As I've slowly added equipment, we have wires all over the place, with lots of electrical extensions. I want someone to make the wiring look professional, and make sure that everything works flawlessly together. LET'S NEGOTIATE A PRICE FOR THE WHOLE JOB IN ONE DAY. I don't want someone to start the job and then find out that they can't get something to work (had that happen with Geek Squad with the Vista docking station). What exactly does this mean? We have a not for profit website that needs backend database work needed. SQL server experience. Simply put; We need about a dozen pages of forms where users input data that's stored in SQL, then reports & emails fired off to registered users.
