iHRS is currently searching for a Controller/CFO for a growing company located in Irving, TX. This position requires a candidate to have a CPA and be able to lead and manage an accounting team. The ideal candidate should be process driven seeking ways to improve the existing finance and accounting department; we are looking for an operations minded individual. Qualifications:

• 8 years of accounting experience.
• 5 years of management and leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Baccalaureate degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA license.

Responsibilities:

• Provides financial leadership to management and the finance/accounting staff to drive improvement within the business.
• Manage financial reporting processes, providing accurate and timely data to the executive team and departments.
• Supervise the daily activities of the Accounting and Finance staff.
• Responsible for the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting and will play a key role in the annual strategic planning process.
• Ensure adequate internal controls are maintained to safeguard company assets, provide accurate financial records and achieve standards consistent with state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Enforce accuracy of business transactions.
• Provide financial information to all functions to enable sound business decision making (e.g. product line and customer profitability, capital and investment decisions).
• Lead the financial and administrative integration of the business processes (e.g. treasury, tax, global sourcing, information systems and financial reporting).
• Direct payroll activities to ensure proper payment of wages, adherence to all policies and the proper distribution of labor hours and dollars.
• Lead process improvement and productivity projects, including systems implementations as required.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization in the finance area.
• Create business unit operating metrics and measure their performance to the established metrics with specific emphasis on working capital management.
