A multi-billion dollar manufacturing company is in search of a Sr. Cost Accountant. The company has been growing rapidly and is doing well financially. This position provides autonomy and reports directly to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
• Develop labor and overhead rates
• Update and maintain standards costs, review BOM/Routers for Cost Requirements
• Ensure that the cycle count process is completed accurately and timely
• Analyze and report purchase price variances
• Plan and execute physical inventory
• Assist with Month End Close as needed
• Provide cost projections for inventory related items
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of experience in cost accounting
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
