Mission: To manage tax planning and compliance for a group of high net worth individuals working closely with a senior tax professional.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with the management of tax compliance and planning for an existing group of clients ensuring tax returns are filed before due dates and
ahead of client expectations, estimated tax payments are minimized while penalties are avoided, clients are timely invoiced for services and all client
projects are agreed to in advance as to scope, timing & cost.
Supervise client accounting staff while building strong relationships.
Assist in developing tax and financial planning service plans tailored for each client.
Work with other tax and investment professionals to develop a strategic financial review model for high net worth families and individuals by year
end.
Assist in the development and documentation of the tax practice division of the firm by year
o Development of a firm due date/ tracker system and
o Preparing a standard firm tax policy manual using AICPA guidelines.
Criteria:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Tax is required. Masters degree Preferred.
GPA 3.5 or above.
Licensed CPA or passed all four parts of the CPA exam
Focused achiever, dedicated to delivering a level of responsiveness and client service higher than anywhere else in the marketplace.
Enthusiastic, with strong desire to create and for building a firm.
Self starter works well with a lack of structure, building what is needed.
Outgoing with an ability to see and communicate in an inspiring way.
Ability to recruit and supervise tax staff.
