Our client, a large financial services organization, is seeking an accounting with experience in the mortgage industry.
Responsibilities include:
Reconcile vendor invoices by identifying discrepancies, unit cost differences and other miscellaneous charges. Create Excel worksheets to identify details of cost differences and track invoice payments. Research and resolve disputed shortage and cost difference.
Determine validity of loan level data based on received data from vendor. Communicate reconciliation issues with the NSO Vendor Relation Manager and Director. Relay special payment arrangements negotiated accounts payable and NSO Admin Director to expedite processing. Monitor the invoice tracking report to remain current with assigned invoices. Complete reconciliation of all related invoices and provide final approval or denial recommendation.
Qualifications:
3-4 years of related work experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
CPA certification desired
Detail-oriented
Excellent knowledge of GAAP concepts
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
