Sole Proprietor CPA firm is looking for a part time bookkeeper, initially on an as needed basis to catch up a backlog of write up work. Subsequent work hours will range from 12 hours to 20 hours a month. During tax season, the hours will be more.
The bookkeeper must possess the following prerequisites:
at least 3 years or more CPA firm bookkeeping experience
at least 3 years or more write up experience using MAS90 4.3
be proficient in data entry (10 key by touch)
be proficient in preparing bank reconciliation manually
be proficient in using Excel
be proficient in preparing and filing payroll tax and sales tax returns online
some experience using QB
college degree required
There will be minimal training in navigating the software, bank rec and the firm's system. It will be fast paced in the early months of next year. Therefore the candidate is expected to pick up the brief training fast and to work independently.
Compensation will depend on experience from $10 to $15 per hour. There will be prospects in potential growth in work load and compensation.
