This is a totally furnished unit including, all furniture, pictures, vacuums, TV's, DVD players, CD players, outdoor gas grills, full kitchens (coffee makers, blenders, microwaves, glasses, dishes & silverware, pots & pans, etc.), all bedding, linens and towels are provided. There are lawn chairs on the back decks and also available poolside. Both front decks have an enclosed outside shower for rinsing off after the pool or beach. There is also a large attached storage shed on each. I usually provide wireless internet for vacationers but there are also free internet terminals available at the library in the village. Additionally, water, insurance, exterior building and ground maintenance is included in a monthly condo fee of $275 & $332 monthly. Taxes are around a thousand dollars each, per year which includes recycling and garbage pickup. There are two parking spaces in front of each unit with additional guest spaces available. The parking lot is being repaved as I write this. It is located with easy access off the island to Brunswick for shopping or emergencies. To date, both of these condos have been smoke free units and extremely well kept. I am beginning to think about where I want to retire and have decided on the North Carolina mountains as I was raised in upper New York state and I miss the Berkshires but not enough for all that snow so NC is my compromise. St. Simons is a hauntingly beautiful and clean island with almost nonexistent crime, lots of history and charming & friendly residents.
