GreenLight Productions is a local concert booking/promotions company, based in North Texas. The company has existed for over 3 years and has a good reputation in Texas for bringing young adults many of the best underground Metal/Hardcore, Indie/Rock, Pop/Rock, etc. concerts and festivals in the area. Our target audience is made up of 70% male, 30% female; and is 50% ages 18-24, 40% ages 14-17, and 10% under 13 or over 25.
The company is currently seeking a SPONSORSHIPS DIRECTOR, to begin organizing and directing extra-income opportunities for GreenLight Productions. Although we consider this a full-time position, someone with experience and self-motivation should expect to work 10-15 hours a week maximum, at their own pace, 90% from home. (There may be some instances where a business-owner would want to meet with the person they are negotiating with). We have existing relationships with companies such as Chipotle Mexican Grill, Ultimate-Guitar.com, Jamstudio.com, & others, but have been really lacking in organization and real triumph from the department.
Currently, GreenLight Productions is involved with the booking of approximately 3-5 concerts and festivals per month in North Texas, East Texas, and parts of Louisiana that we consider “sponsor-worthy”. The Sponsorships Director will be expected to work with 1-2 sponsors for each of these smaller shows, 2-4 sponsors for larger shows, and anywhere from 3 to 10 sponsors for festivals. Type of companies we hope to work with through these sponsorships include Clothing/Apparel, Family-owned/Franchise Restaurants, Skateboarding/Skating, Fashion/Cosmetics, Online Music Sites, Music Equipment, CD Stores/Online Music Shops, etc.
Starting commission for this position is 20% of all new income brought to GreenLight Productions via sponsorships. Applicants should know that this will not be enough to live on alone, but this is a position with a new company that will continue to grow with time and creativity, as are most positions available in the music industry.
