Fun Experienced Nanny looking for a Great Family (Southlake,Westlake,Keller area)

I'm a 27yr old female in Lewisville,Tx. I will move if the job is in Westlake,Keller or Southlake.
I have 12yrs experience with ages 1wk-13yrs old. Both boys and girls.

I enjoy taking the kids to the park,on picnics, swimming, playing games, movies, out to lunch, teaching the kiddos-getting them ready for Pre-K and or Kindergarten, story times at the local library, taking them to there activities, etcc..

Here is a reference letter from a family I recently worked for, for 4 1/2yrs.

I wanted to let you know a little about Sarah from an employer's perspective. First, I want to let you know why we are forced to let her go. My mother recently lost her job and in an effort to allow her to spend more time with my dad, who isn't doing well, we are going to pay her to basically stay at home and watch the kids when she can. Hence, we can not afford to pay Sarah as well. Now, on to Sarah. First off, she has been with us for 4 1/2 years. We hired her when our eldest was only 1. She has never called in sick and has never been late in 4 1/2 years! She is, in a nut shell, the perfect nanny. She keeps the kid's area neat and clean, their rooms are organized, and she is actively involved with them the entire day. She also does light house keeping and the house is usually cleaner in the afternoon than it was in the morning when I left for work! She even does lessons, that she creates, with our eldest child, Matthew, to help him get ready for kindergarten. Matthew is only 5 and he can read (1st level books), write his name and endless 2 and 3 letter words, do simple math in his head... the list goes on and on. I am telling you this because I believe that most of his accomplishments can be attributed to the time that Sarah put into working with him. Sure, we reinforced the learning at night, but Sarah put in the lion's share of the work. She is also responsible for just about single handedly potty training Matthew, who we thought could not be potty trained. (-: Sam, out youngest, is Sarah's "little challenge". He does not always listen and it is sometimes hard to get him to do what you have asked. With all this, Sarah has never lost her patience with him. To deal with his somewhat challenging behavior, Sarah instituted a time out system. When he is misbehaving, she puts him on the stairs and sets the timer for 2 minutes (5 minutes for Matthew). She then tells him that she will talk to him when the timer goes off. He sits quietly and waits for the timer and then will answer her questions about why he was in trouble. I can not believe that this works, but it does. The 2 minutes is just enough time for him to calm down and think about what he needs to do to get out of time out. I could go on and on...the list of things that she does to make my life easier and to help make my children better than they might otherwise be is endless. It breaks my heart to have to see her go and, to tell the truth, I am a little jealous that she is going to work for another family! The boys love her and there have already been tears shed when we told Matthew that she was going to have to find work with another family. We love her and plan to keep close ties with her even when she no longer works with us. I know that she loves the boys and that she will miss them as much as they will miss her! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I can tell you for certain, you will not find a better nanny than Sarah! Thanks for your time! Cristi

I am looking for a Mon-Fri, around 8-5 job. $430+wk.

I know this is a long post, so sorry for that.

Let me know if your interested.

Thanks

Sarah
