The real estate world is vulnerable to abuses so the courts have made it mandatory for the sellers to disclose all the essential information to the buyers for consumer protection. This document containing all the facts is called the public report. Codes of Law On August 4, 1943, the legislative power of the Department of Real Estate (DRE) was categorized as two Parts of the Division 4 catering to the Business and Professions Code. Part 1 is now known as Sections 10000 to 10580. It is titled, "Licensing of Persons" and can be quoted as the Real Estate Law. Part 2 is called Sections 11000 to 11200. It is titled, "Regulation of Transactions" and can be quoted as the Subdivided Lands Law. I have been teaching music lessons since 1965. With the way the economy is I offer a great deal on Guitar classes for all ages. These classes are offered each Tuesday at 6:30 P.M. and Saturday at 2 P.M. 4 to 6 students per class. 45 minute class. These classes are Christian based. You must have a Guitar. My secondary purpose for instructing guitar is to prepare a circle of disciplined individuals to form an acoustic guitar orchestra. The repertoire will consist of original compositions by Hanzu, compositions/improvisations by the Guitar Cosm Orchestra itself, and traditional works put to original arrangements which take into consideration the quantity of available guitarists.

"Guitar Cosm":
This course offers lessons for guitar using my own and original approach to music. It is the best method for learning guitar that I have ever known. It is the greatest for those who wish to really understand music and create original works. This course is entirely adaptable to suiting one's aims and one's level of commitment. It also makes available the practical, theoretical, and even the philosophical aspects of music and playing guitar. The primary topics covered are:

Composition
Improvisation
Performance

Lessons:
All skill levels are welcome, but beginners must be at least 13 years old. Lessons are usually held at my house for $40 an hour (one day a week). The lessons are intensive and are limited to one a week... even for the exceptionally talented. Talent is not a requirement for playing guitar, but the acquisition of skill is a necessary aim for playing guitar well! The quality of your discipline will be directly proportionate to the extent of your ability.

My name is Perry Brooks Nichols and I am a professional classical and electric guitarist and performing in the Dallas area. I studied with Robert Guthrie at SMU for many years.

I have studied all styles of guitar for 15 years, and teach using a foundation in classical/flamenco style and technique. I have found that for my own career as a recording artist that the classical/flamenco styles are the most useful for developing and training the hands.

I prefer to teach beginner to intermediate students of any age. I also can provide pro and amateur electric guitarists an in-depth study of correct hand postures and right-hand technique which can help to refine their overall technique and stylistic approach.

My teaching specialties include: Sight Reading, Music Theory, Left and Right Hand Technique, the Classical Repetoire, Flamenco techniques, and the works of Sor, Giuliani, and Carcassi, Brouwer, Aguado, etc.

Although I do not transcribe music by contemporary guitarists, I have an in-depth knowledge of the stylistic approaches and techniques of such guitarists as Eric Johnson, Jeff Beck, Randy Rhoads, EVH and Buckethead, to name a few, and I can teach you the components they use to build their signature licks.

I have a vast library of music, so I can draw from my own resources to teach you, or from a method of your choosing.

These are just some of the areas I can help you with. I have worked with over 100 individuals since 2005 here in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. I meet clients at public places or at their homes or offices. In Irving, it's usually the Corner Bakery Cafe on MacArthur, near the Kroger. Or, the cafe in Fry's Electronics on 635 between MacArthur and Belt Line. In North Dallas, the Corner Bakery Cafe on Forest Lane, just east of Preston Road. In Plano, it can be the the Starbucks inside the Super Target on Park, just east of the Dallas North Tollway. Or, in the cafe inside Fry's Electronics in Plano on Plano Parkway, just east of 75/Central Expressway.

I offer appointments 7 days a week at convenient times, days and evenings. Rates are affordable: about $36 - 40 per hour. More for longer distances and longer sessions. Typical clients meet with me once or more a week for 2 months; that is, for about 8 to 10 weeks. Some work with me for 3-6 months or more. It's up to you, your schedule and your budget.

I have worked with people from India, all parts of Europe, Russia, the middle East, Africa, Latin America...just about every where. I have some very specific techniques that can help. The key is listening and imitating and getting specific feedback from me as to where you're on target and where you need to work. A digital voice recorder for recording our personal sessions is strongly recommended.
