We are seeking an experienced Creative Director to oversee our art department and bring fresh new ideas to our busy boutique agency. Seasoned, experienced professionals only… with strong supervisory and scheduling skills and a visionary sense of message and design.
We are an established Dallas-based agency, specializing in branding, strategy, and graphic design of all types. The Creative Director will oversee all creative projects and creative staff and will be responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the department. We are looking for a big idea person who can bring a fresh perspective to our work and lead our creative team to the next level.
Job Responsibilities include:
· Collaboration with account team to determine client objectives, identify target audience and subsequently conceptualize, design and produce
effective marketing communications including brochures, logos, identity packages, websites, collateral material, e-mail, etc...
· Review design and messaging based on target audience and objectives
· Involvement in all aspects of production from conception, specifications, file release to pre-press, etc...
· Extensive print and production knowledge
· Client Relations and presentation * both internal and external
· Must have excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.
· Must be detail oriented, as well as see big picture.
The Ideal candidate should have the following:
· Extensive experience in creative direction
· Must be a strong creative leader, and overall team leader.
· Excellent organization skills
· Capable of managing and nurturing growth of other designers.
· Exceptional presentation skills.
· Must be comfortable taking projects from start to finish, & working with/overseeing design team.
· A well-rounded design sensibility is a must.
· Hands-on design skills are a definite plus with proficiency in the usual software on Mac platform. (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
· Prior experience in a client services role in a creative agency is a plus.
· Must be highly responsive and ability to adapt to sudden changes.
· Experience with electronic marketing and social media applications, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, blogs is a plus.
