Growing Industrial Manufacturing company with extremely fast pace and upward movement is seeking an addition to staff-prefers local candidate with management of maintenance department of 50 people.
Successful candidates should have at least 5-8 years of manufacturing experience with understanding forging, machining, heat treatment finishing, tool and die operations multiple department level.) Candidates should also have a strong business systems background in an industrial, manufacturing operation, leadership skills, and experience in maintenance management.
Heavy experience with CAD or Pro-E.
Bachelor's of Science Degree in business or engineering is required.
Successful candidates must have previous work experience with and solid knowledge of industrial-production manufacturing processes, techniques and practices, e.g. scheduling & planning, understanding of budgets, JIT systems. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing is required, (i.e. candidates must have experience with lean manufacturing tools such as 5S and Visual Management, Creating Standard Work, Developing Manufacturing Flow Design, Value Stream Mapping, and Cause and Effect & 5-Why Problem Solving. Candidates must have very strong working knowledge of operating KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Inventory) and experience in root-cause correction when KPI targets are not met. Candidates must already have experience with Plant-level Operations / Production Meetings. Advanced personal computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) are essential to performing detailed analysis.
