5 openings, these are compressed work week night shifts from 6:30 pm to 6:30 am, 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next
Position: Mechanical/Electrical Assembler
Essential Duties:
Perform mechanical assembly using drawings and assembly instructions.
Perform electrical assembly including solder and rework, continuity testing, operations of manual and automated test and assembly equipment, and resistance/TIG/Laser welding.
Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring they are within calibration.
Recognize, communicate, and respond to process deviation and help identify cause and corrective action.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Basic math and reading skills.
Able to work in a class 100K clean room environment.
Microscope capability.
Must be flexible and able to perform a wide variety of assembly and test processes across multiple products.
Computer literacy and mechanical inclination.
Able to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
Must be able to work with chemicals.
Desired Skills:
Solder certification.
Familiarity with the same or as/like equipment and processes.
Basic electronic testing and troubleshooting is a plus.
Education/Experience
HS diploma.
2 years of related experience.
