We know that he had attracted the attention of both the FBI, CIA, his supervisors and co workers by making statements praising suicide bombers, making anti American statements and sending emails to known terrorist and Al Qaeda operatives, yet someone in the government with the authority to stop the investigation, did so.
Someone in the highest echelon of government allowed this tragedy to happen and it is dependent on us to demand to know just what happened and why it was allowed to happen.
Who in the government was protecting Hasan?
Why was he not labeled as a terror suspect and cashiered out of the Army?
Was it political correctness or was it a more sinister act by someone in our government.
We need to contact our representatives and demand that those responsible be exposed and if possible, charges of accessory to terrorism be filed against them.
An act such as this one should never be allowed to happen again.
Our military and their loved ones should not have to worry about their safety while in country. Isn't it enough that we ask them to put themselves in harms way to protect us.
Shouldn't we at least give them the same consideration.
