Family Treasures Resale Shop is looking for a part time (20-30 hours a week) bi-lingual Sales Assistant. Job duties are two-fold: Retail Sales and Donation Pick-up/Transport. Retail Sales is about 85% - 90% of the job where the employee will perform tasks in the store such as: donation sorting, product pulling, product labeling, pricing, display unit set-up, maintain adequate product inventory, product merchandising, product recycling, designing store windows, suggestive selling, customer sells, and assisting with projects as needed. The remaining 10%-15% of the job duty is transporting pre-sorted donations (most packaged in large storage bags) from our Donation Center (in downtown Dallas) back to the Resale Shop. We do offer a gas/mileage reimbursement benefit.
Required skills include experience in: retail, sales, or similar, cash register and money handling, speaking/translating/communicating/writing in both English and Spanish, customer service skills, establishing goals and creating innovative means to achieve/exceed them with the directive to increase revenue.
