Position Summary: Acts as IT Infrastructure Specialist and Business Analyst, conceptualizing and delivering IT and software solutions to enhance business processes. Supports database and software projects from design to implementation. Liaison with network Support Specialists, field personnel and Executive Staff to assist in resolving problems with software, client or network issues
General Purpose: To provide a high level of internal and external customer service by identifying the sources of problems and analyzing and resolving end user issues regarding connectivity, the servers supporting the end user applications, and successfully utilizing a basic knowledge of network and infrastructure support.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist Corporate Staff & field managers in successful execution of company’s core business by providing software, hardware, and network support at both tactical and strategic levels.
To assist in the design and rollout of software applications to advance the productivity of Company s business processes.
Manage and/or provide guidance to technical and support staff. Analyze and provide IT solutions for business processes.
Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team.
Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve issues with servers, databases, and other mission critical systems.
Interact with clients and remote users as needed. Regularly maintaining, upgrading, and supporting existing systems to insure operational stability for user groups.
Engaging equipment and service vendors involved in supporting network operations.
Understanding and reviewing action plans for planned/unplanned changes to client's network.
Handling performance monitoring, system management.
Role Qualifications:
Solid working knowledge of networking and server environments.
Experience with Windows Server, Exchange, MS SQL Server, and Sharepoint.
Hands-on software and network troubleshooting experience.
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products .
Certified in Microsoft and/or Cisco Server Administration Hardware & Software a plus.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible attitude to play multiple roles as needed.
Passion for supporting clients and insuring successful implementation of company's services.
Must partner with Project Management and Operations to ensure successful implementation of business objectives.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to quickly analyze, resolve or escalate production troubles; good interpersonal skills; customer service orientation.
