About the Position

The high-energy, self-motivated and excellent problem-solving Sales Manager will be responsible for all revenue generating activities and targets within an assigned territory. You will report to the Regional Sales Director for Texas to establish attainable yet aggressive goals on both existing as well as newly emerging products. The Sales Manager will develop the sales plan, including strategies and tactics, as well as sales methodologies to achieve the revenue goals for their territory. This position will be based in Dallas, Texas and serve the Dallas-Fort Worth markets.

Specifically, the successful candidate will:
 Meet or exceed revenue and quota expectations.
 Aggressively follow up on all leads provided through any and all channels.
 Support all sales management and business development management direction and goals as defined.
 Prepare periodic action plans to insure focused activity.
 Maintain sustained sales activities; appointments, proposals, phone prospecting and database updates.
 Keep abreast of product features and changes to competently propose solutions to existing and prospective customers.
 Demonstrates a commitment to the BHI sales process, values and code of ethics.
 Ability to structure and negotiate contracts

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling:
 Online listing service (advertising) to homebuilders within the assigned territory
 Online display advertising to homebuilders and other real estate related partners
 Distribution partnerships across the Internet
 Video, animation and rendering services
 Mobile Marketing-the hottest product in the real estate space
 Other products as they are launched

Additional responsibilities include understanding product capabilities and future industry developments and trends; working with marketing, sales support, and contract administration, writing proposals and quotations, license negotiations, and all other aspects of account management. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of proven success in Internet/technology sales with a clear demonstration of consultative selling skills including excellent analytic, communication, and presentation skills.


EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS DESIRED
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years proven sales experience (10+ years preferred)
• Proven success in selling multiple products
• Possess superior skills in consultative selling
• Ability to establish relationships and sell into the new home market
• Must have strong in-personal presentation skills, follow-up and the ability to close the sale
• Ability to take initiative, be motivated and eager to succeed
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet with high level industry decision makers
• Demonstrated understanding of technology and the technology marketplace
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate with a diverse customer base
• Ability to meet strict deadlines with specific deliverables
• Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Internet
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers
• Experience within the new home market is preferred
