Due to recent growth, Intricate Inc. is searching for a helpdesk analyst to work full time, Monday through Friday, in-house at a client near downtown Dallas. Candidate must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with C-Level executives and employees when troubleshooting urgent situations. Candidate must also have excellent time management skills and have the ability to work unsupervised. This position will mainly be phone support, but in instances where issues cannot be resolved via telephone, the candidate must be able to troubleshoot desk side.
Helpdesk Analyst Responsibilities:
- Answer internal and external support calls and record in custom ticketing system
- Initiate remote desktop sessions using LogMeIn to troubleshoot software issues
- Schedule and maintain a monthly timeline for supporting individuals within the organization regarding maintenance and remote sessions/support
- Troubleshoot Outlook 2003/2007, Exchange 2003/2007, Microsoft Office
- Imaging desktops using ACRONIS
- Follow very specific process documents and maintain strict inventory
- Be responsible for follow up calls
- Perform in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Be on call occasionally during the weekends
- Proactively manage your work load
- Use Fedex online for shipping laptops
- Occasionally socialize with the group you support – company outings, etc.
Requirements:
- College Degree or Relevant Work Experience
- Clean appearance – client is a corporate environment (jeans acceptable)
- Must know and understand Cisco routers, switches, and access points. Knowledge about writing/editing Cisco config files preferred
- Must be familiar with IP addressing, VPN configurations, Firewalls, and T1/OC3 connections
- Must know how to setup/configure networks, static IP addressing, network printing, wireless
- Must know how to troubleshoot Mac OSX, Windows XP, Vista, and Windows Server 2003 – Linux/Unix experience a plus
- Must have in depth knowledge or configuring Blackberry, iPhone, PDA with email/BES/Exchange Server
- Must understand the sensitivity involved with the data the client and you will be working with. It is understood that the data is highly confidential and must be dealt with in a secure manner
- Must be able to make decisions based on what is in the best interest of the client
- Must be organized with record keeping, documentation, and written/verbal communication
- Punctuality and heavy multi-tasking is a must
