ACT Consulting (ACT), Inc is seeking hardware technicians for a short term project in Grapevine Texas. Successful candidates must have 2-3 years expereince performing hardware upgrades and repairs on IBM, Dell or HP laptop and tablet computers, and have th necessary tools for these functions. Must have significant break-fix,hardware repair experience on late model laptops. HP certifications a plus. Must also have 2-3 years expereince supporting Windows and common Microsoft desktop issues and problems. Successful candidates should have completed some formal hardware, software or information technology industry training, IE: MCSE, A+ Certification and or Technical school degree.
The hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, these hours may vary as the project progresses. This is a hourly position for one week approximately 40 hours. The hourly pay rate is $25 and a completion bonus of $200 will be paid and the end of the project. Phone interviews will take place in 2-3 weeks. After a successful phone interview you will be asked to provide employment and peer references.
