If you don't like the boot, do what I did when my work truck had a boot put on it.
I had no unpaid tickets of any kind. I actually called the police dept. and asked
why there was a locking boot on my truck. They said, it must be from someone else, they did not put it on.
I pulled out my cutting torch and cut it off, threw the boot in the back of my truck and sold it for scrap.
I actually got $27.00 for it.
