Do you write stories and feel they could be great games? Well if you're a fan of games like the Metal Gear Saga, Killzone, or Battlefield 2142 then this would be for you. I'm trying to gather people to create two teams for collaborating on game writing projects. The objective of these groups will be to create a plot and develop the story, characters, and other essential elements. Once this is done we'll all come together to pitch the stories to gaming companies foreign and domestic. I've been to at least three different Game Developers Conference and have a good idea how the process works. I'm not here to get free stories or ideas and run off leaving everyone behind, it's everyone that works on it or no one. If you feel like you would even be willing to give this type of team a try then please by all means reply to this post. As the process gets further down the road probably after New Years we would need character artists as well as a minimum.

I have a project that involves doing developmental editing work on an advanced Chinese language learning text. This will involve editing with track changes and dialoguing with the client and author as the project develops. There are 10 lessons in each volume, and they usually will have the DE working in batches of 2-3 chapters at a time.

--developmental editing (ideal) experience or other experience with textbook materials
--Fluency in English and Chinese, including knowledge of characters and pinyin
--experience with Chinese language learning (if not as CE, DE, etc. this could be you participating as a student learning Chinese)
