We have an immediate need for a Senior Construction Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX.<br>
 <br>
<br>
With recent federal contract awards have created new opportunities to support our construction projects in New Mexico.  Project Management is performed at the project sites and Noresco expects project managers to be on-site during the majority of the workweek.  Were looking for Project Managers that have experience working in and around occupied buildings with strengths in MEP systems.    <br>
<br>
The project development activities of the Senior Project Manager(SPM) are in support of the project development team and include performing surveys, estimating costs, value engineering, subcontractor/vendor solicitation and developing a construction budget. <br>
<br>
Here is a detailed summary of the responsibilities for a Senior Project Manager<br>
<br>
Pre-Construction Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
         Support the site investigation activity and provide cost estimates for initial cost/savings analysis of all potential energy conservation measures (ECMs) being considered. <br>
<br>
         Evaluate equipment and design recommendations from the project team to confirm that the design concepts can be implemented cost effectively. <br>
<br>
         Prepare vendor and subcontractor bid documents for obtaining multiple proposals (for each work package) and compare such with their independent estimates and historical data to evaluate the bids and project costs. <br>
<br>
         Prepare a construction budget including all subcontractor, vendor and internal direct costs, mark-up and miscellaneous contingencies. <br>
<br>
         Review and comment on draft revisions of technical ECM descriptions, project management approach and schedule to ensure that they are consistent with the scope of work and schedule of the cost estimate. <br>
<br>
         Prepare a detailed Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule and Gantt chart for the proposal, identifying all tasks and milestones from customer award through project implementation and final acceptance. <br>
<br>
         During the implementation phase the SPM will be responsible for managing the NORESCO project team, the Customer and all subcontractors, vendors and consultants to implement the construction of the ECMs with the proposed schedule and budget, while ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. <br>
<br>
 <br>
<br>
Implementation Phase Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
         Craft detailed scopes of work, which have been coordinated with the project team for the preparation of subcontract agreements and vendor purchase orders. <br>
<br>
         Develop and implement a site-specific safety plan and to manage projects with a safe work environment in which there are no lost time accidents. This responsibility includes ensuring all subcontractors operate safely through the management of a thorough hazard analysis to identify all potential hazards for each task and the implementation of an action plan/procedure to control or eliminate all job site hazards. <br>
<br>
         Manage the project team by obtaining input, assigning tasks and tracking action items to ensure quality control and effectively constructing, commissioning and closing out projects on time while considering service phase responsibilities for long term operation and maintenance and energy savings measurement and verification. <br>
<br>
         Manage all subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality control, cost control and adhesion to agreed schedule.  Prepare accurate and timely project financial reports, which forecast project revenue and are reconciled and updated monthly. <br>
<br>
         Prepare accurate, timely and detailed monthly project status reports. Reports will include a description of work completed to date, the work schedule going forward, deviations from the previous report, subcontractor change orders and customer issues and/or project scope changes. <br>
<br>
         Review and approve all expenditures for assigned projects on a monthly basis and to ensure that all invoice/applications for payment have an accurate and detailed schedule of values, and are in accordance with purchase order, and subcontract terms and conditions are processed (approved/authorized) in a timely manner. <br>
<br>
         Regularly update project schedules and prepare project management correspondences and document all aspects of the implementation phase including customer meeting minutes, team assignments/action item tracking, letters, memorandums, transmittals and RFIs. Submittal and milestone logs and will be required to synchronize all files on the SPMs local computer with the network on a regular basis. <br>
<br>
Travel and Special Requirements: <br>
<br>
         Must be able to work at remote locations with as much as 50% overnight travel.  Must possess adequate means of transportation to and from local jobsites (within driving distance). <br>
<br>
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have the following minimum requirements.<br>
<br>
         Strong background in the management of projects involving mechanical, electrical and building automation system design and installation <br>
<br>
         Able to demonstrate their ability to manage a multi million-dollar project portfolio and a team made up of Project Managers, Design Engineers, Operations and Maintenance, Measurement and Verification and Commissioning Engineers/Technicians as well as Administrative staff, Field Installers, Vendors and Subcontractors. <br>

         Should have at least five (5) years work experience in project development and implementation of Design-Build construction and energy saving measures. <br>

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION<br>

As the Mechanical Engineer, responsibilities include design of HVAC packaged pumping systems and solutions for new and retrofit/modification projects.  Provide engineering solutions to production issues; related to materials, processes and tooling.  You will be expected to support new products by developing new processes, designing tooling and machinery, and developing production controls.  You will work directly with the BOM Analyst to develop routings and material requirements in constructing the bill of materials for the designs and/or projects.<br>

JOB DUTIES<br>

Technical Service & Documentation:  Provide technical solutions and assistance as required by Sales, Manufacturing and Customer Service.  Investigate and resolve project development issues working closely with the electrical design team for prompt resolution.  Document procedures and processes for use by Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Control for troubleshooting packaged pump systems.<br>
 <br>
Product Design & Development:  Knowledge concerning mechanical principles, hydraulics, fabrication and machining practices, the properties of metals, and the application of mathematics and dimensions to production machinery and tooling to effectively design and manufacture package pumping systems.  Through innovative simulation techniques and design processes, assist production staff in building and prototyping with minimum iterations.  Analyze field research and product/component testing data for potential operational problems and performance linkages.  Validate designs and improve product design reliability through rapid prototyping technology.<br>

Process Improvement & Optimization:  Develop cost control measures, cost estimating tools, and pumping systems standards.  Efficiently integrate existing methods with new innovations to economically solve design and production problems in a timely manner.  Stay informed concerning new technology and equipment, and investigates their potential applications.  Recommend incorporation of new technology for both new and existing products where feasible and practical.<br>

   MS Mechanical Engineering is ideal, or BS Mechanical Engineering + commensurate experience <br>

   2D & 3D CAD software experience; Pro-E experience is ideal<br>

Actively participate in all phases of the product development process, from preliminary specification through transfer to clinical manufacture.<br>

Experience/Qualification Requirements: <br>

Possess strong knowledge of medical device engineering disciplines including a combination of materials, plastics/disposables engineering, multi-layered packaging laminate structures, aseptic pharmaceutical packaging, fluid dynamics, and solid knowledge of related disciplines such as biology and chemistry. <br>
Direct experience with pharmaceuticals, particularly with respect to drug-device delivery interfaces and packaging is very desirable. Initiative and focus to drive projects from the development stage through commercialization. <br>

An emerging medical device company based in Austin, Texas is currently seeking an Engineering Technician to join our dynamic research and development team in developing the next generation of manufacturing controls for advance drug delivery production systems, and electro-mechanical device prototypes.  The successful candidate will be a team player willing to meet the daily technical challenges and become an integral part of this dynamic engineering team.<br>
<br>
The Engineering Technician will collaborate with R&D Mechanical Engineers and Scientists in all phases of the design, development, production, testing, operation, and maintenance of drug delivery devices, mechanical equipment, tools, and industrial process machinery. This individual must have a broad range of knowledge including PC software, programming, fabrication technologies, machine operation, design concepts, electronics theory, and an understanding of scientific principles and procedures.<br>
<br>
Qualifications:<br>
<br>
The qualified candidate must have prior experience in the following areas:<br>

-Design and create Electronic Schematics<br>
-Design and develop Electronics Prototype controls systems<br>
-Control Panel Design and Fabrication<br>
-Microcontroller Programming<br>
-PLC Ladder Logic <br>
-Linear Actuators/Servo Motor Drives<br>
-User Interface Design & Conceptual Design<br>
-Systems Integration<br>
-Process Troubleshooting<br>
-Support Prototype Device Fabrication<br>
-Knowledge of Analog and Digital Electronics<br>
-Temperature Controllers, Thermocouples, Cartridge Heaters<br>
-Managing and working with vendors and suppliers<br>
-Data Acquisition<br>
-prior experience in working with FDA regulated medical devices is a plus<br>

-PC Programming languages: Java, HTML, C, C++<br>

<description><![CDATA[An emerging medical device company based in Austin, Texas is currently seeking a Senior Mold Maker with mold design capability for a fast paced, continually improving mold shop/tool room that operates under time pressures.<br>
<br>
Responsibilities:<br>
	Responsible for the quality of the finished work to meet the customer' satisfaction.<br>
	Work with R&D on mold making of development project including providing input into design process.  <br>
	Consult with Engineering on new projects.<br>
	Works with and exhibits an understanding of detailed 3D plastic parts design and engineering mold design.<br>
	Sound knowledge of mold design, tool steels, and plastic material, i.e., flow properties, shrink rates and processing characteristics to aid in the mold design and review process.<br>
	Ability to read interpret mold drawings and prints or CAD files and uses PC to plan sequences for timely completion of  job.<br>
	Fabrication, assembly, disassembly, clean, repair, polishing molds and their components.<br>
	Perform preventative maintenance, modifications, in-press mold diagnosis, and repair for injection molds.<br>
	Understanding of mold-building process to design for manufacturability.<br>
	Program, set-up, and operate various equipment such as sinker EDM's, mill (conventional & CNC), surface grinders and lathes (conventional & CNC).<br>
	Fabricate tools, fixtures, and components to support manufacturing and R&D.<br>
	Plans machine operations that will continue during unattended work hours.<br>
	Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment in tool shop.<br>
	Responsible for programming the EDM sinker machine to produce mold components, checks the electrodes for accuracy before burning, and decides the overburn of electrodes.<br>
	Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor to include the duties of general machining and fabrication.<br>
<br>
Experience/Qualification Requirements: <br>
<br>
	Minimum of 15 years related experience and/or training.<br>
	15+ years experience with injection mold tooling including mold bases and mold inserts.<br>
	15+ years experience using milling, turning and grinding equipment.<br>
	10+ years experience designing mold components including procurement of catalog components.<br>
	10+ years experience using wire and sinker EDM systems.<br>
	10+ years experience using CNC machining centers.<br>
	7+ years experience using MasterCAM.<br>
	5+ years experience with micro-molding of small high precision components.<br>
	Ability to work in team environment as contributor and leader.<br>
	Experience with high quality, extremely small, and detailed injection molded parts.<br>
	Ability to read, evaluate and work from engineering drawings. <br>
	Excellent decision making/problem solving skills.<br>
	Ability to develop and modify basic engineering drawings a plus.<br>
	Reliability and timeliness is essential.<br>
	Experience with medical products a plus.<br>
	Familiarity with Haas CNC Machines.<br>
<br>
Software Requirements:<br>
Microsoft, Excel, Word.<br>
SolidWorks knowledge a plus.<br>
MasterCAM (version 9 or greater)  Required.<br>
