We are looking for honest, reliable, well-organized people who love pets and are looking for extra income. Your flexibility of schedule is the key to this position. You will work weekends, but you will not work every weekend. You must be available 7 days a week to work the following shifts:

* You will do one or two (or more if you are available) 20-25-min visits early in the mornings (any time between 6:30 and 8 am ),

* At least one 20-25-min visit (or more if you are available) during mid-days (any time between 12 and 3 pm),

* And evenings (between 6:30 and 9 pm).

But again, you will not work every day. You may get an assignment starting Tuesday evening and ending Saturday morning. If it's a cat, the time of the visits is usually more flexible. If you are pet sitting a dog, you have to be there early in the mornings, late in the evenings, and often during lunch to take them on walks and follow their routine while the owners are away. So your midday availability is important, but again, you won't be pet sitting every day during your lunch hour... So if you have another job or school, it's important that your commute is not too far away from home. Since you are pet sitting within 5 miles from where you live, your long commute may prevent you from doing that midday visit, so consider this position carefully.

You must be available for most major holidays. This includes the days surrounding the holiday, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, etc. We do pay a bonus for working the major holidays. Again, with the flexibility of this job, you will not be working non-stop during holidays. You'll just do a few pet sits here and there, and still be able to spend time with your family and friends. You'll pet sit within 5 miles radius from where you live, so it's a very flexible schedule even during busy holidays.

Having a strong character and being detail oriented is critical to this position, as our clients trust us with a great responsibility.

Children�s Connections has started a new program to help strengthen families. The Parent Child Home Program is a nationally recognized program, and we will be the first PCH program in Texas! We are looking for Family Specialists from each of the following northeastern Texas counties: COOKE, FANNIN, GRAYSON AND HUNT.

Requirements include:
**MUST HAVE a Bachelor's degree (human services field preferred)
**Knowledge of child development for preschoolers
**Work experience in child placement with CPS or a licensed adoption agency preferred
**Social Work license preferred

Family Specialists will work 20 hours a week (this includes your travel time to and from visits.) Some families may need visits in the evening and/or on a weekend depending on their work schedules, although many will need to meet during the day. You only need to meet with one parent and the child, but if both parents work outside the home then after hours visits will need to be conducted. You will need to be available both during the work day hours as well as some nights or weekends to meet with your families and to do all required trainings. Unfortunately, this is not a part time position that would be compatible if you have a full time position in addition to this position. We may need to have you work a few more hours the week that you are in training. (probably 30 max)

All Family Specialists will meet with the Program Supervisors once a week for a two hour meeting somewhere in a central DFW location.

The Family Specialists conduct program activities, direct service delivery to support families, compile program documentation, network with other agencies and provide referrals to community services. Program activities include providing 2 home visits a week for about 30 minutes each. Each week you�ll bring each parent/child duo a book or toy as our gift to them and show them how to experience it together. You�ll conduct observations of parents interactions with children and children�s behavior. You�ll be trained on how to record these and help evaluate progress that is made.

Visit 1: (Screening) Potential subjects will report to the clinic (having removed all facial makeup at least 1 hour prior to their schedule appt) to have their faces examined for the presence of at least 20 inflammatory and 25 non-inflammatory acne lesions. Subjects who disqualify either by exam or because the study is filled will be mailed a check for $10.00. Qualified subjects will complete normal paperwork, have lesion counts, female subjects will take a urine pregnancy test, and receive their test product (Acne Gel), usage instructions, daily diary, and calendar of future visits.

Visits 2 - 5:: Subjects return to the clinic for repeat lesion counts, and questionnaires. Dairies and test materials will be returned at Visit 5, and pregnancy tests will be repeated

We are looking for volunteers to join a clinical research study of an experimental H1N1 flu (also called �swine flu�) vaccine. The study is for adults, ages 19 to 40.

You may be eligible to participate if you are:
� 19 to 40 years of age at the time of the first vaccination in this study.

� Receive an experimental H1N1 vaccine at no cost.

* When appropriate, directing the vehicle to a "no load" zone, where a DFW supervisor will advise the driver of required action before returning to active service

You will be given maps detailing all parking locations (including entrance details) in downtown Dallas. You must visit each parking facility listed on the maps, take pictures of the rates, write down the phone number and monthly rate, and ask the attendant specific questions. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, though not required, since you�ll be able to communicate easier with attendants. It will take 8-10 minutes to collect all needed information at each facility. You will be paid $4 per facility. You must upload your photos to an online storage box. More information will be provided before I hire you for this task.

Job Requirements: You will need to start this job immediately and finish within 10 business days. You must complete an initial �trial round� of precisely 10 facilities within the first business day. If you fail to complete the �trial round� within one business day, we will promptly hire someone else.
