Responsible for tracking production efficiencies, creating purchases and receivers for supplies, and conducting Root Cause analysis as required supporting production operations. Scheduling of the Inbound and Outbound trucks to assist in and maximize the efficiencies of the Warehouse operation. Work hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. � Place physical orders for Office supplies and materials required for the operations of the plant. Collect, Record, and send Purchase Invoices to the Accounting Department.
� Create Transfer Orders, Purchase Orders, and Inbound / Outbound truck schedules as directed by Management.
� Reviews production orders and/or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, specifications of products, yield percentages and truck deliveries.
� Complete Production Report, Variance Report, and Root Cause analysis as directed by Management.
� Work with accounts payable to confirm invoices and resolve quickly any outstanding payable issue.
� Courier service for pickups from Local Venders and suppliers.
� Any other assignments as directed by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate Requirements:

Preferably university educated with a completed good level degree in engineering or the physical sciences. The ability to speak Spanish language would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite. Prior Military experience with Avionics background will be seriously considered.

The candidate is likely to have started their career in a technical position and be able to demonstrate a track record in engineering or manufacturing, followed by a successful move into sales. A good knowledge of electrical wiring interconnect systems and/or the aerospace or other relevant industries would be particularly helpful. He/she will be technically competent and able to understand new technology. Must have a number of years experience in a similar role, most probably within a small to medium sized company, selling high value technology products.

Experience should encompass significant direct personal hands on business to business sales experience, interfacing and selling to the customer (note sales rather than marketing orientation). Experience of managing agents and a small sales team would be useful but is not a prerequisite. This experience will include researching and identifying �suspects�, cold calling, analysing suspects, developing suspects into prospects, identifying customer needs, creating and developing sales opportunities, following through and closing the sale and taking the order. This experience will have been gained either selling laser or similar high technology based capital equipment into the US market or significant experience of selling into all major sectors of the aerospace and defense industry; exposure to other sectors including defense electronics and military vehicles would be helpful.

1. Purpose of Job:
To centrally manage the core administrative functions of Spectrum Technologies, USA including reception, preparing sales quotes, invoicing for and maintaining accounts receivable ledger, shipping, packing, inventory control and customer support. The post holder will be required to work flexibly, in a rapidly developing office environment often under rigorous deadlines.

2. Principal Accountabilities:
A) Reception--Undertake the role of Receptionist on a day to day basis, including all aspects of office tasking, such as telephone management, customer management, office equipment handling and other non de facto assignments.
B) Financial--A large part of this role will involve preparing sales quotes for customers. Upon receipt of a Purchase Order from a customer the candidate will then progress the quote through the various stages to a final Invoice within the Accounts Receivable ledger of the Accounts/Inventory software package. Attention to detail is essential for the role�s Financial duties, which are very much interdependent with the shipping and inventory control aspect of the role.
C) Mailing Services--Arrange for mailings and correspondence to other Spectrum facilities. Prepare packages for customers via known couriers (UPS, Fedex, etc) while interfacing with the Shipping team. Execute the despatch of customer orders using standard company procedures while transacting in the Finance/Inventory software package. Organizing and administrating shipping arrangements for customer demands. Will require close liaison with UK order fulfilment team, Finance team and UK & US Customer Service team.
D) Inventory Control--Conduct periodic inventory audits and distribution of parts as necessary. Receipting of purchased parts into inventory and transacting of shipping parts, both physically and within the Finance/Inventory software package. The candidate will therefore be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy/control.
E) Event Planning--Assists with special events planning.
F) Other--Undertake any other projects and duties as requested by the Customer Support Manager which are within the competence of the job holder.

3. Scope of Responsibility:
