Experienced Loader/Operator needed for our Fort Worth facility. Requirements for the position are as follows:
Essential Functions:
1. Ability to multi task keeping job production flowing throughout the store and production area at all times.
2. Insure work area is a safe environment at all times.
3. Ability to carry out verbal / written material tasks under minimum supervision.
4. Perform daily inspections on loader.
5. Staging vehicles, which includes, transporting the vehicles to and from the staging area.
6. Transport vehicles to and from the drain shop.
7. Check fluids twice daily to ensure proper operation.
8. Use forklift observing all safety regulations.
9. Assists in a complete safe production/store environment for employees and customers.
10. Ensures an environmentally safe environment.
11. All other duties as assigned.
Marginal Functions:
1. Knowledge and experience in the Auto Dismantling Industry.
2. Prior experience in operating a Loader or similar equipment A +.
Qualifications:
1. Must have valid Loader Certification.
2. Must attend retraining classes annually that meet company standards and expectations.
3. Must successfully complete the Chemical Hazards Training program.
4. Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
6. Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities.
7. Perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision.
8. To work flexible shifts and schedules.
9. Use proper safety equipment and safety procedures.
10. Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing required within State, Federal and Provincial guidelines.
11. Must be at least 16 years of age for Canada and 18 years of age for USA.
Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
1. Sitting, walking, bending, stretching are required regularly to perform job function, production, and environmental/safety responsibility functions.
2. Able to sit for 6-8 hours per day in two hour intervals.
3. Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds are regularly required to perform routine functions.
4. Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions as described above.
5. Good eye hand coordination and good motor skills.
Job Conditions:
1. Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions.
2. Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
