This temporary position will work in manufacturing/packaging, learning to run, tear down, clean and set-up equipment in area of responsibility.
Essential Job Functions:
* Learn procedures, applicable SOPs
* Learn to run, tear down, clean, and set-up equipment within Batch Production Record specifications
* Visually inspect product and equipment
* Cleaning and setting up of equipment and rooms
* Keeping documentation correct and current per cGMPs and SOPs
* Setting and maintaining machines to consistently operate within set parameters
* Cleaning of general work area and facility
* Maintaining a safe and professional work environment
* Perform other related duties as required.
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: 1 year plus experience preferred
Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to legibly write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Operations: Basic
Working Conditions: Well-lit, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office/shop environment with adequate ventilation. Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product/technical nature.
Leadership: This position demonstrates leadership ability by acting as an important part of the Neos Therapeutics team.
Supervision: This position receives close supervision related to specific work activities, assignments, methods, etc.; usually receive frequent surveillance over job activities; instructions are detailed and assignments are typically short term.
