SUMMARY:
DoctorsInTraining.com is looking for a highly motivated/self driven videographer with excellent communication skills, and is interested in working in a dynamic company that is experiencing tremendous growth.
JOB PURPOSE:
Employee will be responsible for the in house videotaping for online courses.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Be proficient in Apple Final Cut Studio and with basic camera operations, lighting, and audio productions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedules production, camera and editing time; preplans taping to ensure the necessary equipment and visuals are available.
• Videotapes program material for production using video camera equipment; makes technical and creative decisions regarding such elements as appropriate lighting, shooting angle, placement and type of microphones audio needs, locations, use of movement; serves as creative liaison to technical production staff.
• Acts as a Producer/Director/Videographer in the field.
• Exercises independent judgment in the assembling and editing of videotaped material for online broadcast to ensure visual cohesiveness by assessing narrative and visual context.
• Edits and assembles final audio/video program material; ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of end product; determines adequate staffing needed for production; coordinates work activities of production crew during taping.
• Prepares and monitors production budget.
• Maintains accurate records, logs and transcribes production activities.
MINIMUM ABILITY, SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Stay focused
• Be aware of exactly what needs to be videotaped at a particular camera station
• Maintain accurate records of what needs to be videotaped.
• Treat each customer as an individual of importance and do the best job possible each and every time
• Observe the battery power indicator on the camera and change before things become critical
• Be observant as to how much tape is left to record on and replace it at a time when nothing is being video taped
• Label DV tapes as they are recorded with a comprehendible identification
• Stay in radio contact as needed to improve quality of the shoot
• Contact Project Organizer immediately when problems arise
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Training and Educational video experience preferred
Minimum 2-4 years of production experience needed and Bachelors Degree
