As you can see, the logs are above the 4 foot level so I don�t know what else I can do to prove to you that this actually is 4 cords. Gentle Gray Gaited Horse Gelding (Near Red River - Bennington OK) $675

This is a very sweet and gentle 8 year old gelding who stands 14.1 hands. His name is Duke. He is not registered but by his conformation and gaits, he appears to be Missouri Fox Trotter. He is very sound with no health issues. He is extremely gentle and easy to work with, very light on the leadrope and will back one step at a time, bring his head around, lower his head, bring his hind quarters around, stand quietly, all with just the slightest cue. He is also generally very light on the reins, neck reins well, and stops well. He stands quietly for tacking up, mount and dismount. Loves to be brushed and is fine with his feet. He is not a beginner's horse, as he does have plenty of energy when you're on his back and really likes to get out and trot or canter. He has a very smooth fox-trot and a nice canter, and he is a great trail or endurance horse, as he can cover a lot of ground quickly and smoothly. He has been used for trail riding and is not afraid of water and is very willing. He doesn't spook very easily and is generally just cautious of new things. He responds well to a gentle voice and gentle hand, but needs an experienced rider. I did have one instance when I hadn't ridden him for a month where Duke didn't want to stop and actually bucked a bit, but I feel this wouldn't have happened if I had been in a safer area to let him go a bit and work off some of his energy and then slow him down. With an experienced rider and being worked with often, Duke will make someone a great horse.

I have owned Duke for just a few months and have enjoyed my time with him. I really haven't had enough time to ride him often enough. Also a flare-up of an old back injury and a hard dose of reality has forced me to not ride anymore. So it's best to find Duke a new home where he will be loved and worked with as he deserves. Journey is a 6 year old tri-colored paint mare that wants to trust people. She has not been treated the best in the past and has some ear shyness, which is slowly getting better. She is getting better with her trust issues, the farrier was just here and she did the best out of all our horses on the front feet, and the back feet she tried to be as nice as possible but was still nervous about him being back there.
She is still a little green and needs a experienced rider, but has a great conformation and stunning color. Her blue eyes and beautiful markings will make you fall in love. She has a good mind and is willing to do whatever you want her to do -she was recently ridden in a parade and she would be a great trail riding horse or a good playday horse. She has the looks and attitude to go in any direction you point her, she just needs someone that will ride her and work with her. She is very sweet and has good ground manners but is a little nervous. With a little love she would be a fantastic mare for someone wanting to grow with her.

The orange one is already dutifully trying to mate our grown hens--he just thinks he is a big guy! They are around 9 weeks old now and quite grown up. They run with the fullsize hens in the pasture and don't require any special care. The picture does not do justice to the darker one--he has beautiful glossy green feathers that shine in the sun.

This is "Dunn with Boys" a 4 year old Dunn mare. She is 14 hands tall with a line down her back. She rides without any buck, but she is not a beginner horse. She could use a tune-up, but she has not done that much wrong anytime with us. She does not have the best ground manners especially at feed time. she will not run off while under saddle and does respond well to the bridle. This horse just needs to be finished off. She seems to be an easy keeper, but may be a little hard to catch unless you have a feed bucket. with a little work this horse could easily be worth much more. I have a 11 year old Arabian Mare that all of my kids have rode. I would not recommend her for a beginner cause she has plenty of get up and go. But if someone knows a little about horses they can ride this mare and will love her. She is gentle enough for the kids to saddle and clean her hooves. She loads and stands tied. The people that had her before me had a 13 year old girl that playdayed on her. We have not done any playdays on her just used her for trailrides.
