I love life, pure & simple! I’m mostly a down to earth person, but I still enjoy the finer things in life; I like traveling, dining out at nice restaurants, watching sporting events, and enjoy a night out on the town now and then, although I am limited for now (was in a motorcycle accident in 8/08).

I appreciate quality, not quantity. I cook an awesome steak on the grill (and other experiments). I like to play poker with friends and other couples. I do not smoke and drink very little. I like listening to “all” different kinds of music, live or recorded. I can either hang out at home, or go to a local pub to watch a sporting event or listen to a band.
I use a walker at home, and a walking cane in public now, at least until my injuries heal more from the accident I had.

I work out at the gym 4 times a week to get back in shape. My doctors tell me I'm ahead of schedule and are impressed with my recovery and efforts so far.
My 20 year old son lives with me, he works and goes to school, he is an awesome son, I’m very proud of him.

A bit about myself....

I am 44... if you are 25 it ain't happening. I am a fairly active guy. I moved to The Colony from Tennessee about 3 years ago. I am on the tall side at 6'3" and I weigh 220. I think Monty Python is the height of humor. I am more into rock and alt than country. I am an avid reader and I have a quirky sense of humor. I enjoy alot of outdoor type things like scuba diving and volleyball. I am not doing ANYTHING outside when it is this cold though, put me down for the cuddle up and watch a movie tour. I am more of a tropics type dude. I am NOT a Cowboys fan (never will be unless Fisher comes down) I am a solid Titans fan with all the stuff to prove it. I even have Titans fuzzy dice hang from the rear view mirror. I can cook and and do the dishes afterwards. I have all of my own teeth which is a real plus in Tennessee let me tell you. I have all my hair which I understand is also something of a plus at least at my age. Senile dementia has not set in but I am probably going to forget a birthday or anniversary or something along the way. It's a guy thing.

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
