1. Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or English.
2. One to two years experience in public relations or communications.
3. Strong writing skills.
4. Knowledge of Macintosh computers.
5. Must be well organized, flexible, have ability to manage multiple tasks, possess adequate time management skills, self-starter, ambitious, analytical, critical thinker, active listener and goal oriented.
6. Ability to work with diverse communities.
7. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

SUMMARY
Uses personal event and selling skills designed to present the assigned brand of wine through event marketing and product demonstration. Participates and conducts events as a top priority.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrate and promote wines at events (charitable, industry, customer focused).
Responsible for events, to include wine tastings.
Demonstrates wine knowledge and a passion for the wine brand as a driver for change.
Communicates post-event analysis to determine the viability of the event (or demo) and its long-term use in future events.
Weekend/evening/alternative work schedule required.
Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required, bachelor�s degree preferred, plus 1-3 years of sales and/or direct consumer event experience.

SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Valid driver�s license and clean driving record. Liquor license as required by state/locality.
