An experienced professional subprime autos collection manager responsible for collecting on $15 million portfolio of subprime auto loans. We are looking for a leader who can manage and improve upon all systems and activities necessary for ongoing success. In addition, the chosen individual will ensure that production and quality expectations are met, i.e. talk/wrap time, collection fees, data integrity, client satisfaction and monitoring results. The collection manager must be an effective communicator and excellent mentor. The manager must be able to analyze the statistical data, the system, and implement collection work strategies that will yield the department’s desired effort and results.
Duties:
- Must be responsible for collecting on about 2000 subprime auto loans
-Full understanding of all metrics of collection in subprime auto loans.
-Provide managerial leadership, coaching and motivation
- Provide support, input, feedback and guidance concerning daily operations
- Recruit, educate, train and lead existing staff and new hires.
- Will be required to be personally involved in the collections process by taking collection calls and working an abbreviated collection cue
- Develop incentives, contests, and motivational tools
- Effectively communicate, implement and maintain policies and procedures
- Manage a team of up to 12 employees
- Manage all personnel related matters including scheduling, attendance and absenteeism issues, discipline, annual reviews, etc.
- Maximize recovery rate by managing productivity data
Required Experience:
• 3-5 years call center management/operations management
• BA/BS or equivalent business experience
• Strong background in collection principles and activities
• Superior communication and leadership skills
• Solid understanding and knowledge in the use of collection management software including skip tracing and predictive dialer applications
• Advanced computer skills including full knowledge of MS Office Suite specially excel.
• Proven track record in training and development of collection techniques
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure along with ability to build and manage staffing plans
• Thorough knowledge of telephone collection techniques
• Thorough knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, etc and all other collection laws
Salary and Benefits:
