Position:
An eyewear distributor in Grapevine is seeking a “hands” on Controller/CFO to manage all accounting, inventory management, financial reporting and internal control activities.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President, with a dotted line to parent company’s CFO, this position is responsible for directly overseeing all aspects of the Company’s financial statements (GAAP), corporate accounting, financial controls, accounting policies, and audits.
Requirements:
• Must be a non-smoker
• At least 5 years experience
• 4 year accounting degree
• Inventory management and costing experience
• Working knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles
• Experienced in issuing GAAP financial statements
• Excellent communication skills
• Prefer local candidates but will consider exceptional out of town candidates
Experience in Great Plains accounting software and FRx report writer; knowledge/experience in setting up warehouse, inventory controls and tracking systems; and management experience are all preferred but not required attributes.
