Dynamic, privately-held software company seeks strong individual to manage accounting department and actively participate in management of the company.
To
qualify, you must have:
• 4 years experience at the Controller level managing A/R, A/P, G/L and Payroll with a staff of 3+
• Experience completing end-of-period closings and producing financial statements for executive management group
• Positive motivational skills. A manager who enjoys developing each person on staff to achieve their highest potential
• Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office products
• Willingness and ability to communicate to all levels and contribute to the management team of the company
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Preferred:
• Experience using Microsoft
Great Plains/Dynamics GP
• Experience with software development company issues
• Experience with state operations
This position reports to the CFO. The primary responsibilities include:
1. Overall operation of accounting including financial reports and budgets
2. Manage and evaluate 3 staff members
3. Evaluate credit applications and oversee collection efforts
4. Direct annual public audit
Salary is dependent upon experience, the low end will be $50K/year + opportunity for bonus. Strong benefit package offered.
