•Ability to read and comprehend mechanical part drawings and sketches in order to inspect parts properly.
•Must be able to set up part and fixtures for proper inspection of parts.
•Understand and implement quality inspections per company procedures and identify items requiring corrective action.
•Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and height gauges to properly inspect machined and fabricated parts.
•Able to understand assembly drawings and make appropriate inspection of assemblies, painted parts, related hardware and incoming raw materials.
•Must maintain proper documentation at all times and follow ISO 9000 procedures.
•Must work well in a team environment and be willing to help others whenever necessary.
•Positive can-do attitude with the ability to adjust to changing priorities as required.
