Garden Ridge is currently seeking Department Leads for the Grand Prairie, TX location. The Department Lead assists store MGMT in all aspects of store merchandising. He/she provides leadership to the Sales Associates in assigned sales floor departments. The Department Lead must assist in the execution of all company programs, policies and procedures as required. Assists in maximizing store sales and profit by ensuring a customer-oriented and well-trained work force.
Preferred candidates will have at least a High School education or equivalent and some experience in retail merchandising operations. Candidates must have strong communications and organizational skills as well as the ability to train and manage others.
