Systems Administrator to monitor and maintain our Microsoft Windows environment. In addition, provide remote and on-site help desk support for employees.
Required
• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer/server systems.
• Perform backups of servers and laptop/desktops.
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software in a Windows XP environment.
• Knowledge of Active Directory in a Windows 2003/2008 environment to perform the required tasks of creating/adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords etc.
• Answering technical queries, supporting local and remote VPN end users.
• Ensuring that the network infrastructure is optimally functional.
• Polished communication skills and a helpful attitude.
• Perform off hours work as needed
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience with network and computer systems. Experience with Windows 2003/2008 Server Administration, Windows XP, Office 2007, McAfee Antivirus and Veritas Backup Exec. Position reports to IT Director for all technical aspects of this position.
