We are looking for an experienced graphic designer who is graphically talented, web savvy and has a desire and calling to serve God and others. The ideal candidate must love design and have a strong knowledge of essential design tools in all Adobe Creative Suite 4 products, particularly, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design and have a broad knowledge of HTML and other website management tools.

The essential skills and knowledge required are:
1. Proficiency in a Mac environment with at least five years experience in all Adobe Creative Suite 4 products, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design.
2. Complete understanding of the creative process from initial meeting, concept development, design and implementation in print (70%) and web (30%).
3. Experience in managing the print production process.
4. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
5. Creative thinker that can execute fresh ideas through design and the written word.
6. Ability to convert front-end mark up to HTML, including websites, emails and more.
7. Three to five years experience with HTML and other website design, a plus.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word and Excel.
9. Videography and video editing experience a plus.
10. The ability to continually educate self on design and communications related topics that apply to working at HPPC.
11. Ability to interface with all levels of staff, lay leaders and community leaders to collaborate on projects.
