Some of our products include chewing gum, organic clothing, mints or biodegradable bottled water.  We are based in Dallas / Fort Worth and our products are sold in +1,500 stores.  We shipped our first products to Whole Foods nationwide December 2008.  We start the voting and selection process of our first “giveaway” candidates Christmas Day 2009. <br>

The Position<br>
The Director of Operations is a critical leadership position at Project 7. They will have total profit and loss responsibility for their department, which encompasses key responsibilities such as; managing product production, procurement, distribution, managing the operations department, supply chain management, logistics and freight management and warehouse management.  The Director of Operations will report directly to the President of Project 7, and will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Sales.   Additionally the Director of Operations will be provided corporate support from the Executive Team and staff around marketing, operations, finance, strategic partnerships and customer service, purchasing and human resources.  <br>

Specifically the Director of Operations is responsible for running our current operations ensuring that customer partnerships, vendor partnerships, product safety and quality, facility management, order fulfillment, distribution, customer service, labor and cost of goods are inline with company goals and expectations.  The Director of Operations is ultimately responsible for representing the Project 7 mission and at times be involved in pitches when needed and serve as a key “face” of Project 7<br>

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:<br>
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:<br>
•	Operations: The Director of Operations will have ultimate responsibility for the Dallas Home Office operations. This includes ensuring that the meals produced and delivered to schools everyday are high quality, safe and consistent with Project 7 standards and that all operations and logistics are running in a smooth, safe and efficient manner. <br>
•	Managing Team: The director of Operations will have ultimate responsibility for managing, and training the operations team. The Director of Operations is ultimately responsible for the management of the product production, packaging, expediting, delivery, purchasing, QC, sales and customer service areas of the organization.  <br>
•	P&L Management: The General Manager will be responsible for the financial management and performance for daily operations. He/she will work alongside the Executive Team to set goals for company.  <br>
•	Customer Partnerships and Vendor Relations: The Director of Operations will work alongside the President and Director of Sales to lead set partner programs, product rollouts, sales goals for the company and will be responsible for managing their dept. team on executing on these goals. Knowledge of specific channels of distribution where The Company's beverages, consumer goods and sustainable clothing are sold, including competitive set, target consumers and key trends. Includes knowledge of and ability to use information in the identification of new opportunities that are aligned with the global and/or local markets' business objectives. <br>
•	Facilities: The Director of Operations will oversee the management of third party warehousing, sourcing, negotiating fee structures, QC maintenance protocols for these partners as well as our product partners and customer partner needs that go along with this. <br>
•	Strategic Partnerships: The Director of Operations will be responsible for representing Project 7 with key partnerships.  The Director of Operations will also manage existing and build new strategic partnerships critical to the success of the business. These partnerships include but are not limited to new product launch, new product packaging possibilities from current vendors, in store initiatives, seasonal and exclusive rollouts. <br>

Qualities and Qualifications:<br>
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:<br>

•	10+  years experience in a high volume, operationally driven environment with 5+ years experience in a senior level leadership role in an organization of $5-$35 million in revenue/operating budget.  <br>
•	A proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to levels of high performance as a result of their leadership.<br>
•	Prior experience within a food or consumer package goods manufacturing environment is highly desired.<br>
•	Possesses solid financial and analytical acumen with prior experience being ultimately responsible for the P&L, budgeting and forecasting of a company, unit or division is required.<br>
•	Prior experience managing to cost of goods and labor costs is highly valued.<br>
•	A proven track record of high performance and driven by a commitment to the mission and success of the organization. <br>
•	Entrepreneurial spirit needed to be part of a growing, fast paced environment where systems and processes are still being developed.<br>
•	Possesses the creativity, resourcefulness, and good judgment needed to be solution oriented in a company that is still evolving.<br>
•	Demonstrated ability to take initiative with little direction and ability to learn quickly.<br>
•	Logistics and distribution experience.<br>
•	Experience and knowledge of food safety or food industry is highly desired.<br>
•	Consumer Knowledge: Knowledge of in-store consumer purchasing behavior in order to develop effective in-store merchandising programs.<br>
•	Determining Financial Impact: Understanding the financial consequences of decisions; understanding economic value for the system; acting as an owner of the business and making decisions that ensure long-term value <br>
•	BA, BS, or equivalent college degree. Masters degree preferred. <br>

Many high-level managers report to the director of operations, freeing the chief executive to set business policy and vision. Job Function: Safely performs both mechanical and electrical maintenance duties including: millwright, pipe fitting, welding, machining, rigging, hydraulics, design and fabrication, instrumentation, production line calls and troubleshooting, replacing, repairing and cleaning of various production or related systems.<br>
<br>
Special Qualifications:  <br>
•	Minimum of five years industrial maintenance experience<br>
•	Ability to pass written and practical tests in all areas<br>
•	Must be available for overtime and call-in work<br>
•	Availability on  weekends and evenings<br>
•	Needs good written, verbal, team and interpersonal skills<br>
•	Needs very strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical areas<br>
•	Must be able to read and write mechanical and electrical blueprints<br>
•	Must have some knowledge of PLCs and Variable Speed Drives.<br>
•	Resourcefulness in a self-directed work environment<br>
•	Professionalism in a fast-paced results-oriented team<br>
•	Knowledge of industrial maintenance safety and environmental systems and programs (e.g. LTT, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.)<br>
•	Experience with SAP or other CMMS is a plus<br>
•	Must execute planned work in a timely manner<br>
•	Knowledge of predictive tools and precision maintenance techniques is required<br>

Primary Function:<br>

To operate and maintain specific wet chemical processes such as plating and etching in the Front-end operations for manufacturing of ceramics, wafers and elements. Operator is responsible for the daily operation of plating line in repetitive mode, including preparation and maintenance of the plating baths. Making adjustments to plating solutions after completion of analysis to maintain bath stability and success of plating. JOB DESCRIPTION:  Provides task leadership and technical expertise to the material handlers engaged in the timely and accurate movement and control of inventory. Performs tasks such as receiving, shipping, counting, packaging, stock rotation, part identification and shelf life determination. Facilitates the timely and accurate movement and control of inventory in designated area of responsibility. Balances personnel within area of responsibility to minimize possible constraints that would adversely affect scheduled output of material.  Monitors quantity and quality output and leads the team to meet group goals. Monitors material handlers’ performance by auditing transaction accuracy. Compiles data and generates reports as needed to illustrate the effectiveness of the processes.  Identifies, documents and proposes solutions for processing problems. Receives and processes materials coming in to the company including handling, inspection, labeling and delivery of materials.  Verifies items received against purchase orders, bills of lading and packing lists.  Works with purchasing to resolve problems with inaccurate deliveries or incorrect delivery paperwork.  Visually inspects deliveries for loss or damage. Prepares finished goods and other items for shipment.  Orders and maintains supplies necessary to ship products.  Verifies count and part numbers and prepares and packs items for shipment.  Prepares shipping documentation and labels.  Schedules and coordinates pick up for outgoing shipments.  Interacts with freight carriers as needed.  Posts weight and shipping charges and maintains detailed files for shipments.  Researches and validates customers’ claims of wrong shipments, missing parts of a shipment, or defective products received.  Generates appropriate transactions to correct the error(s).<br>

JOB REQUIREMENTS:<br>
Minimum 3 years experience in an actual Warehouse/Supervisory Lead Role. Knowledge of warehouse, distribution, inventory control and shipping/receiving practices. <br>
Knowledge of personal computers and ability to learn and use applications specific to this area. Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of material movement. Basic math skills. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reel counters, scales, pallet jacks and forklift. Ability to effectively lead a wide variety of personnel engaged in warehouse operations. Specific certifications and/or licenses as required.<br>

<description><![CDATA[We currently have an exciting opportunity based in our Garland, Texas manufacturing facility for an experienced manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to support our maintenance team in performing equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment for our 230,000 sq ft facility.   <br>

The ideal candidate will be fully competent, comfortable and experienced with fulfilling electrical requirements in a manufacturing facility, to include installation and troubleshooting; and, possess the experience to perform thorough mechanical troubleshooting tasks, as well as electronic and PLC troubleshooting.<br>
<br>
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing emergency/unscheduled repairs during production, troubleshooting & resolving equipment problems, performing scheduled preventative maintenance & general facility maintenance. <br>
<br>
A minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience is required, as is a desire to succeed in a both support and leadership roles.<br>

This is a fast paced environment; flexibility and dependability are essential for these positions. Must be able to work independently & as part of a team.
