I am moving to the area to establish a new school and to teach for music schools/community colleges. As I establish my school, I plan to work full-time teaching music for music schools (applications already submitted) and am also looking to find adjunct faculty positions with various colleges. My recent rental history is limited. I lived in California with my ex-husband, so all histories were in his name, with one exception. I was renting a condo for one year from a private individual. I was working 5 positions because full-time employment as a music teacher was very difficult in California (budget cuts to education). I taught private lessons, taught two classes at a community college, worked with foreign exchange students, substitute taught for two school districts and did performance gigs as they came up. I left in April to work full-time for a community college in Montana. The rental market there was practically non-existent so I ended up staying with my family. Federal funding for the program I was directing was cut with the new fiscal year, so my position was cut at the end of September. As a result, I was eligible for unemployment. The unemployment took 10 weeks to process (I have the email from Montana unemployment to verify this), so my credit took a serious hit from this large gap in income flow. My current score is around 550. I am now in a financial position to pay first month's rent, deposit, and pet deposit. I'd like to keep that amount at or below $2,000 if possible. If you need more, then I'd prefer a payment option for the deposit. I will have additional scholarship funding arrive in January (mid-January). I am also still receiving unemployment until a full-time position is found. I have full confidence that I can find full-time employment very quickly. I've never had issues with finding teaching positions with music schools due to my background and 14 years of experience. I've also been pursuing research funding for my dissertation research.

I'm big into the gym and working out. It's pretty much my main thing other than work.

I'm focused on getting big and competing in a year or two. Because of that, I eat like a mofo all the time.

That means that when I'm home, I'm cooking a lot and eating a lot.

My roommate is always complaining because our place always smells like food. There's either smells because I'm cooking, or because I just cooked, or because I'm in the middle of eating tuna straight out of the can.

I've also got supplements everywhere and he doesn't like that either.

But this is how I live and I like it. If I could afford a decent place on my own, I'd get a 1 bedroom. But all the food I eat and all the supplements I take cost a lot of money, and that's what my priority is.
