Thank you for inquiring about our Liberty Tax Basic Income Tax School, where you can learn the fundamentals of tax preparation from Liberty Tax professionals. Our tuition-free tax school begins the week of Jan.11-16 and will continue for 5 nights and one Saturday.
After successfully completing the Basic Tax Class, you will have the opportunity to apply for any of the seasonal positions we have available for our upcoming tax season.
Costumed Wavers

Essential Learning, based in San Diego, California, was founded in 2002 and has grown to become the largest provider of e-learning services to behavioral health, substance abuse, developmental disability and child welfare service organizations nationwide. Essential Learning develops and markets e-learning strategies to meet the training and continuing education needs for the human service industry. With approximately 50 employees today located across the United States, most staff work from a home office setting.
This newly created Marketing Coordinator position will be an integral part of the marketing and business development team. Primary responsibility is to assist the SVP Marketing with marketing campaigns, conferences/tradeshows, maintain company website, solicit business requirements, identify areas of opportunity, create marketing collateral, work with third party vendors, and ensure the Marketing team meets company objectives and goals.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Coordinate design, production and distribution of publications and other promotional materials, including press releases, advertisements, catalogs, brochures, flyers, signage, A/V presentations, displays, exhibits, etc.
• Maintain monthly advertising and events, tradeshow calendar
• Assist with development and implementation of advertising campaigns, promotions, direct mail
• Compile market analysis information to be used for market trends and help maintain awareness of competitors, industry
• Review and edit marketing materials, customer letters, RFP's, and other communication documents as needed
• Assist in development of signs, banners, displays, posters, exhibits, presentations
• Support the creation and/or updating of listing brochures, reports, spreadsheets, templates, databases and web sites
• Use online tools to optimize marketing programs
• Manipulate data via downloading, uploading, forwarding, formatting, and standardizing in electronic and/or hard-copy format
• Contribute with writing and proofing press releases, announcements, listings, transactions, bios, reports, ads and brochures
• Assist with implementing online and offline marketing strategy to maximize our presence in the human services market
• Gather and collate data from varying sources, which may include internal repository systems, internal/external clients, data mining, lead procurement systems, etc.
• Monitor schedules, production and distribution arrangements and other details to ensure timely completion and quality control of marketing activities and publications.
• Act as the internal liaison between Business Development, Product Development, Implementation, and Customer Relationships Management teams to ensure successful campaign execution
Requirements:
1. 3-5 years marketing experience preferred in the social services for-profit industry with Bachelor's Degree in Marketing highly desired
2. Complete in depth computer proficiency with hands on work related experience utilizing the following programs required: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, GoToMeeting (Citrix)
3. Desired working knowledge of: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Constant Contact (comparable email marketing tools), PDF Files, Zip Files, SnagIt, ACT)
4. Knowledge of the following software applications a plus: Macromedia Dreamweaver, HTML, Flash, Captivate
5. Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills. A writing sample / editing test are requirements of the interview process.
6. Capacity to adapt to change very quickly and be flexible with changing priorities
7. The ability to multi-task on a wide variety of time-sensitive projects simultaneously. This will entail working independently under minimum supervision and working collectively with other employees, partners and vendors.
8. Strong creative, analytical, operational, marketing skills in addition to strong tactical, administrative, organizational and project management skills.
9. Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak to customers and partners in meetings, by telephone, via email correspondence, or at industry events about technical subjects
10. A high level of integrity, perseverance and energy with strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality and value in all marketing materials, collaterals, vehicles and activities
11. Experience in preparing and monitoring project and departmental budgets, timelines and calendars.
12. Proven track record of completing projects on time, within budget.
13. Ability to travel as required to set-up and oversee trade shows and industry meetings, user conferences, or other company-related marketing events.
14. Must have environment for a distraction free home office set up including broadband internet connection, PC properly configured for Windows and Office, monitor adequate for marketing design review, and a private business phone line.
