Manufacturing/Production Manager for a new Dietary Supplements/OTC/Cosmetics contract packaging company. This position enjoys overseeing preweighing of raw materials, batching of product, and managing the production lines. There are 10 direct reports to manage the operation. This facility is fully compliant with FDA GMP's and we are preparing for ISO 9001 certification.
Specific job responsibilities:
* Ensure all employees are working safely and in compliance with GMP's.
* Ensure all resources are used efficiently and effectively.
* Daily, determine the labor and mechanical resources needed and allocate appropriately.
* Ensure all personnel are properly trained in SOP's and work instructions.
Minimium specific position requirements: (Very important)
* 5 years experience in a GMP regulatated environnment in management of the production area in food, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics.
* College degree required
* Proficient in excel, word, and comfortable with ERP work order, and inventory systems.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Take charge person who, using good judgement is decisive and proactive.
Preference will be given to those:
* Engineering degree
* Direct Manufacturing responsibilities
* Working experience with ISO standards.
