Sales and Marketing Coordinator Daily Fee Golf Division

Position Concept:
As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator you will lead the on site efforts to add and retain members in all membership categories, assist in the sales effort for golf outings while increasing the total operating revenue for the club.
The position requires outstanding communication skills, a “can do” attitude and excellent time management. The position requires experience in marketing, customer service, membership sales, golf events and retention. Knowledge of the game of golf is strongly encouraged along with prior experiences in the golf and hospitality industry.

• Program implementation and execution
• Promotion of a fun and friendly club environment for guests and employees
• Self motivated, excellent time management and “goal driven” attitude
• The ability to use data to drive decisions

Relationships:
• Maintain extensive contact with Vice President, Analyst, General Manager, Event Sales Director, Department Heads and all front line staff to ensure teamwork and consistency in all Palmer Golf Membership and loyalty programs
• Possess a personality trait that will makes people feel welcome and a connection occurs from the guest to the facility

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of the membership process to include enrollment, database management, billing and account receivable
2. Prospect customer databases (EZ-Links and IBS reports) for tournament leads
3. Maintain phone call log and document weekly phone calls made
a. Use data available through IBS reports, USGA handicap system and EZ-Links to customize phone messages.
4. Educate and motivate staff on all membership programs to ensure guests are informed about the various benefits of each product or program.
5. Increase the enrollment and usage of USGA Handicaps
6. Generate guest surveys and follow up on all responses
7. Increase the sales of Player’s Club Corner
8. Manage with Analyst all communication points, marketing and collateral materials. Examples:
a. Club website, palmergolf.com, communication areas such as the grill, pro shop, cart fronts, on hold messages, staff dialogue, EZ-Links confirmations and other areas identified for your club
9. Attend all scheduled meetings or conference calls by the management team; i.e., Vice President, General Manager, and Analyst
10. Generate and review membership reports from IBS, EZ-Links and TSR
11. Develop club special event calendar and generate participation from database. Examples:
a. Trunk shows, demo days, media days and etc…
12. Represent the facility in community service to create a positive relationship with media (TV-radio-newspapers) and local business through promotional activities and programs.
13. Willing to travel within a given market to other Arnold Palmer Golf Management facilities
14. The ability to work weekends
