Audio Visual Technician
ieSmartSystems, L. L. C. , a Houston-based low-voltage specialty contractor has an exciting opportunity for a quality Audio Visual Technician in our Dallas location.
ieSmartSystems was formed in 2000 and specializes in Audio/Visual, Cabling and Security Infrastructures. ieSmartSystems employees 130 individuals and has offices in Houston and Dallas.
The audio visual technician will work under the general supervision of the project supervisor and project manager to install audio visual systems and equipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to read drawings and order needed material
Overall understanding of audio visual infrastructure and voice and data applications and ability to troubleshoot
Installing, testing and supporting Crestron and/or AMX control systems.
Experience working with wired and wireless networks
Strong technical skills on a variety of AV equipment
Ability to lead installation crew
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Requirements:
Candidates should be experienced in installation, setup and trouble-shooting of audio, video, video project and A/V control systems.
Candidate must possess strong organization & communication skills, the ability to communicate with customers and manage installation team.
CTS Certification preferred
High school diploma, or equivalent preferred, not required.
1-2 years experience installing audio visual equipment preferred
Must have a valid drivers license with good driving record.
