Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operation within specific functional areas:
Delivering world class customer service to all customers
Supervising and routing delivery drivers and vehicles in an effective and efficient manner.
Communicating with customers, sales force, drivers and warehouse
Manpower planning, time management, safety, workflow planning, and administering constructive discipline when required.
Managing payroll, fleet maintenance and daily reports
Managing area related payroll and other budgetary expenses is also a requirement.

Requirements:
High School Diploma, some college preferred
Ability to manage 10-15 people.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent organizational skills
Minimum 1-3 years personnel management experience
Excellent knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth area
Effective communication of goals and interplay of ideas and concepts.
Competent knowledge of computer fundamentals including MS Word , Outlook, Windows, Internet Explorer and Excel.
Demonstrate ability to think along constructive original lines.
Exhibit excellent time management skills with the ability to achieve maximum effectiveness.

2 years driving experience as a commercial driver, preferred.
Customer service oriented

Available to work flexible hours and on weekends when necessary
Material handler experience
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds; beyond 75 pounds with the proper equipment and/or assistance of others
Must be able to use a pallet jack, hand truck, palletize boxes and shrink-wrap pallets manually.
Responsibilities:
Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging inspection form and reporting requirements.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers instructions, troubleshooting problems, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment supplies and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintains safe vehicle conditions and protects loads by complying with company policy and DOT and state highway rules and regulations.
Ability to understand bills of lading, receiving documents and any other documents relevant to shipping and receiving.
Prepare required paperwork for shipping/receiving clients product to/from outside venders, customers and other locations
Perform data entry to record material transactions and maintenance of paperwork
Ensure proper labeling of inventory
Use your vehicle: Minivan, Large SUV or Pick Up (with Shell), to make home deliveries of small packages. The routes will be 6 days per week.
Drivers will generate revenue based on: per piece/stop- excellent earning potential!!
Previous experience in heavy haul transport, including permit and super loads.
Knowledge and experience in securing equipment loads for transport.
Ability to operate cranes ranging from 30 to 100 tons for loading purposes.
Willing to travel up to 3-7 days at a time nationwide and into Canada.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor equipment failures while on the road.
Have proper credentials to travel into and out of Canada.
