Barney was a stray that was found and brought to Butch's rescue kennel. He is American Staffordshire Terrier breed. He is also known as "Pocket Rocket." Barney need a place with a yard so he can run and play. He would not be good in an apartment or small space. When his kennel door opened, he was so excited that he ran a few laps around us before slowing down to say hi. He has a funny character. He dug in the dirt to find a cool place to lay down. As you can see in the pictures. Barney is sweet and full of personality. He is good with other dogs and children. He is about 2yrs and 50 lbs. He is housetrained.

Oscar was an owner release to Butch's Kennel for unknown reasons. He is about 70 lbs and about 2 yrs old. He like to spin round and round when people pull into the kennel because he is so excited. The kids gave him a nickname "Spinnie." He would make a great playmate for some rowdy boys (kids) who could run and play with him. He is very alert and keeps strangers aways. He is the first to alert everyone at the kennels when anyone comes near the kennels. He is very well mannered and just a good natured dog. Question for Breeders or a Vet Tech...? (East Tx.)

I have a 3 1/2 year old Chihuahua that had mated with another Chi on accident went my friend came over one day. We caught her and min in the act and I picked the male up after they locked together one time and separated them from doing it again.

Well it has been about 2 months since and in the last week or so she has gained some weight and her nipples got quite large the rear 2 are larger than the rest and sagging.
I am afraid she may be pregnant or could she be in a false pregnancy? I read about this online and was thinking it could be. She is producing milk and Tuesday night around 10pm she started leaking a dark green fluid and she was pacing the floor and panting. Wed. she has just stayed in the kennel all day she has not ate or drank anything. She is still leaking some fluid but it looks more clear now and more of it. I did get her to eat a cracker and a piece of bread because she did not want her dog food. Today she is still having contractions off and on and leaking a little fluid and she still wants to stay in the kennel. I called her out and she would run out with her tail tucked under then run back in and lay down. I did notice today she is thinner that she was yesterday. I have felt her belly several times before and now and still feel nothing moving. I don't think she has a baby in there?? Could this be all a fake pregnancy?

I don't have any money for a vet right now or I would take her. She does not seem to be in pain, she's not whining, she even wags her tail at me when I talk to her. I am so confused, she has never been pregnant and I never wanted her to.

EDIT: She had 1 pup but not without my help getting it out of her! I was very safe used latex gloves, warm water, and some lubricant but we did it! The pup was dead already and came out backwards. The pup had just one rear foot sticking out then the butt came out a little. I had to help it come all the way out myself. She only had one and she is already feeling better I can tell. She just ate some can food and she's walking around now.

THANK GOD! I don't want this ever to happen again!! She is getting spayed now asap. I am just so glad she's ok!

She's brindle and white and had the normal coloring of a boston terrier, but she had an all white head and one black spot in the middle of it. We have rescued 4 dogs that have been at the shelter for 5 months. Their owner turned them in, why, I can't say. Holden, Bo, and Annie were turned in by one owner and Maggie came in the following month. All are fully vetted including microchips. They were house, crate, and leash trained. Holden is the blue eyed Aussie mix that is 10 months old, that talks to you. Bo is the Catahoula mix that is 2 yrs old. Annie is the brown boxer mix that is about 3 yrs old. And Maggie is the tan Lab chow mix with the corkscrew tail. She is about 5 yrs old.

I have a Cavapoo (cavalier king charles spaniel/poodle mix) that needs a good home.

He is neutered and current on his shots and will be 2 in February. I have all of the paperwork from the original purchase and all of his paperwork on his vets visits since we have brought him home. He is amazing with kids. I have a three-year-old & a one-year-old that have put him through the ringer and he has never snapped or bitten either of them (even though I think he should when they start pulling on his tail). I am a cat person. I don't like dogs, but my husband is allergic (whatever!) and I am the one who has to groom the dog, clean up after the dog, walk the dog, feed the dog, water the dog...

Atlas will come with a bed, a kennel (he is crate trained), food dishes, water dish, about 15 pounds of food, food storage container, toys, etc. I am asking $150 to cover the cost of these items. He is really an amazing dog, but I don't have the time/desire to keep up with him. My kids are too young and my husband is too busy. Because of the poodle in him, he doesn't shed. He is easy to keep up with, but does need to be excercised.

Quick talking points:

He stands about 22 inches tall at the head.
He would be ok in an apartment, but has had a large yard to wander around in and may need more excercise if he lives in an apartment.
He barks at the doorbell, but not much else.
He likes wet food mixed with his dry food, but will eat without the wet food.
He is crate trained. That means that he will stay in a crate/kennel at night and uses his crate as an escape if it is too noisy/busy.
He is housebroken. He stands at the door when he needs to go out and scratches at the door when ready to come in.
He is easily trained. He has a great desire to please, which makes training easy if you have the time.
He is very loving and very snuggly. He loves to sit on the couch and watch TV with his head on your lap so you can scratch his ears.
He loves a Kong filled with the Kong Stuffing (you can find it at PetSmart, Wal-Mart, Target, Petco) and comes with a Kong.
He is current on all shots and isn't due for any thing until May of 2010.
He has been fixed.
He does NOT have fleas or ticks. His fur keeps them away very well.
He requires brushing if you let his fur get longer, but short fur doesn't need much of anything.
He does well at a kennel if you need to go out of town.
He is very social with other dogs.
He does VERY well at the groomers.
