You must have 3 days available per week, MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY beginning at 8:00 am.  2 days per week will be regularly scheduled, approximately 4+ hours per day.  A 3rd day per week must be kept available for special projects such as resets, endcaps, etc.  No evenings or weekends!  You must be in the store on your scheduled service days at 8:00am.<br>

As a merchandiser for this company, you will be responsible for in-store maintenance of products for various product lines.  Maintenance tasks include placing product on displays, tidying and repackaging existing product, re-stocking brochures, placement of refund/rebate pads, setting up promotional product displays and resetting existing displays.<br>
<br>
You will also be responsible for standardized reporting, accurate timekeeping, occasional surveys and special reports, as well as regular communication with the home office by email, fax and telephone.<br>
<br>
Your most important skill will be building relationships with the store associates to ensure that our client’s products are the best represented in your store.<br>
<br>
If you are outgoing, detail oriented and self-motivated, we’d like to talk to you.  You must be able to give the reporting tasks and the product maintenance tasks equal dedication and importance.  You must be punctual and dependable.  You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.  You must possess good English skills, both spoken and written.  You should be able to easily lift at least 35lbs and be able to use retail-type ladders for retrieving top stock.<br>

Prior retail/sales/merchandising experience is a plus.<br>

Retail Sales is about 85% - 90% of the job where the employee will perform tasks in the store such as: donation sorting, product pulling, product labeling, pricing, display unit set-up, maintain adequate product inventory, product merchandising, product recycling, designing store windows, suggestive selling, customer sells, and assisting with projects as needed.  The remaining 10%-15% of the job duty is transporting pre-sorted donations (most packaged in large storage bags) from our Donation Center (in downtown Dallas) back to the Resale Shop. Requirements include: <br>
- Previous Sales or Customer Service experience is preferred<br>
- Strong verbal in-person & telephone communications, Good customer service, problem-solving & independent work skills. <br>
- Basic understanding of math concepts specifically related to vehicle purchases (i.e. down payments, regular payments, principal and interest) <br>
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment criminal background & motor vehicle records inquiries, and results of those inquiries must be consistent with company requirements <br>
- Must be able to work evenings & Saturdays<br>

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the following:<br>

Selling<br>
Greet Customers who come onto the lot or into the store.<br>
Coordinate vehicle selection. <br>
Negotiate selection, terms, and down payment with customers as needed. <br>
Solicit outside referral sources at other dealerships.<br>

Training <br>
Coach, mentor, motivate, and train consultative Sales staff.<br>
Hold 1-1’s with sales staff.<br>
Deal working/selling/closing – ie our sales process. <br>
Teach phone etiquette and marketing techniques to Sales staff.<br>
Saturday morning training meetings, management conference calls, teaching moments.<br>
<br>
Monitoring <br>
Monitor store productivity and compare to established goals. <br>
Monitor selling/marketing efforts, and results, on a weekly basis.<br>
Review scheduling/punctuality, as well as schedule compliance. <br>
Review training progress of new hires. <br>
Monitor and help develop each sales person's individual action plans. <br>
Observe managers & salespeople make phone calls. <br>
Watch salespeople work deals, observe staff interaction with customers. <br>
Monitor consistency/compliance with the CarHop system. <br>
Monitor newly hired salespeople to ensure they proceed as expected through their first 90 days of their employment. <br>
<br>
Administrative <br>
Plan for weekly managers meetings/conference calls. <br>
Resolve customer complaints/deposit issues as needed. <br>
Complete performance appraisals for direct reports. <br>
Continually review staffing levels and anticipate needed changes. Document staffing plans and justify the need to add or delete staff based on activity levels, anticipated openings, etc. Update this analysis monthly. <br>
Responsible for inventory and making sure vehicles get properly registered.<br>
Actively participate in recruiting activity.<br>

High School diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferred.<br>
