I will be moving back to the DFW area between February and June. I know this is a large window, but I'm patiently going to search for the right home. My rental history is flawed, but not due to me not paying rent or paying late. I have ALWAYS paid rent on time, unfortunately I had to break a lease back in 2006 and after discussing options with my apartment manager, I was told that if I gave them a 60 day noticI e I would not have to pay for breaking my lease. Well between then and actually moving 2 months later management changed and 2 weeks after I moved out I was told that I owed a ridiculous amount of money for breaking my lease early. We are NON-SMOKERS, Have NO pets (youngest child is allergic won't get any once as we move either), and would like to move in by the end of the year. The only problem is that my husband and I do not have good credit. We are looking for a home to lease/rent for under $1000. We are willing to pay first/last month rent as well as a deposit.
