Independent Retirement Community in Arlington, TX is looking for an experienced and results driven Director of Sales and Marketing. This position coordinates and initiates sales and marketing related functions of the community as well as implements sales and marketing plans that will meet and exceed the overall business plan census goals and financial objectives.
Reponsibilities include: Census development through the implementation of external and internal marketing programs. Conduct tours, luncheons or other strategies with prospective residents and resident groups. Manage lead base as well as follow-up with inquiry calls. Coordinate local outreach efforts. Oversee new resident move-ins. Evaluate the competition and identify differences in comparison with our community. Annual Marketing budget preparations. Recruit, develop, coach and manage sales team. Ensure sales productiviity is high by establishing team marketing strategies and leasing objectives. Develop and culitivate relationships with religious, healthcare, and other professional businesses and service providers within the community. Complete competitor analysis through gathering data on marketing trends, competitors and outside professionals and vendors. Pre-qualify potential residents. Maintain organization of sales office with company standardization.
Education and Experience: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree preferred and at least 2 years of direct involvement in a selling oriented environment with preference in sales and marketing of senior living or an equivalent combination. Must enjoy working with seniors.
