CURRENT OPEN POSITION IN THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA FOR A CITY (District) MANAGER!
SecurCare Self Storage, Inc. is a privately held Colorado company based in Lone Tree, Colorado. It was founded in 1988 for the business of developing and acquiring Self Storage facilities.
Since our founding, SecurCare has built its business to 100+ stores in 10 states. We currently use a variety of operating names, with the majority of our stores being SecurCare Self Storage and Colonial Storage Centers.
Pay Range: $28,000-$30,000 per year

The following are the requirements and description for this position:
-Managerial Position, will manage 11 stores and the Managers as well as the Relief Management and the area Maintenance Staff
-This position will be officed out of your home. Computer, cell phone, etc. will be provided
-Marketing skills and experience REQUIRED
-Excellent computer experience required on Microsoft office programs
-Excellent typing and 10 key skills
-Ability to travel within the DFW area and periodic travel outside of the area for training. Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance. You will be reimbursed for mileage
-Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects
-Reports to the Regional Manager
-Generally Monday-Friday, Saturday's on-call and Sunday’s Off
-May be required to be outside for extended periods of time during inclement weather
-Some light physical activity, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
-Accurate filing and record keeping
-Cash handling experience required
-Mid-level math skills for auditing purposes in the stores
-Manage Accounts Receivables in stores
-Excellent customer service and phone skills
-Ability to schedule the area for vacations and days off
Purpose of position: To ensure the Stores and Mangers are up to company standards. Also to ensure all properties are meeting financial goals. Manage Store Managers, Relief Managers and Maintenance personnel.
Main Duties: To Manage Stores and Properties to ensure no financial loss to company. Also to make sure all stores are following company standards and policy. To ensure all customers are receiving the best customer service by training employees on a regular basis.
Secondary Duties: Auditing stores to ensure all bank records are accurate. Training with employees to ensure excellent phone skills and customer service skills. Recruiting for open positions. Quarterly auctions, keeping up with current state lien laws. Discipline staff as needed or required. Review and monitor Maintenance costs. Work to attain all goals for the region. Taking bids for repairs on properties. Audits of paperwork and petty cash. Area scheduling.
Additional Information: Must have good time management skills, ability to multi-task and be a team leader.
